Six waved Mono over, and once he joined her, she pointed up at the sky. It was full of stars, cloudless, and dark, dark blue.
She sat down to admire the twinkling stars, smiling gently to herself.
It wasnโt often she got to see things like thisโฆ and she wanted Mono to see it, too.
unprompted asks. = accepting!
mono tilts his head, setting his sewing kit to the side. he stands and brushes his coat off, meandering over to his friend. she points upward, and he tips his head back to follow her finger. behind his bag, his eyes widen. the sky is massive but not black. lots more lights than he could ever count hang inside it.
it spans over everywhere. no clouds are there to hide it. is this what the night is supposed to look like? he's only ever seen rain and clouds.
mono shifts his stare to six and gives her an approving nod and thumbs up. he then raises his own hand, using his finger to draw mock lines between the stars. it's funny how the nowhere can be so cruel yet so beautiful.
