Monkey's muse
I've had a lot of inbox messages in these last couple of weeks maybe even a month or so asking me when I'll go back to writing NCIS imagines.
The answer is I don't know.
I haven't fallen out of love for the show. I still watch it. I watch all the repeats too but I simply don't have a muse to write for NCIS.
This blog will always be my personal one, that's how it started out and that's how it will be... my imagines and stuff will be there for you to read and I'll still be here for you to talk to, whether it's through the inbox or through the personal messages.
I don't feel bad for drifting away from writing NCIS imagines, because I still love the show and will reblog writings and gif sets and stuff from other people.
I just don't have the muse. Whether it's a thing that will return? Maybe, I do hope so because I love writing for those characters, but at the minute? It's not happening.
I hope this has cleared things up? I'm sorry but I've disappointed anyone, I just wanted to be honest.
This isn't me saying goodbye, nonsense, I'm just taking a back seat for a while and I'm enjoying what other people create.

So I have some spare time next week. And I've been reading some of my older fanfics that I've posted over the last year or so and it's given me some inspo.
Not a lot but some.
I think I just burnt out, y'know? I wrote and posted so much - sometimes I'd be posting 2/3 fics a day - that I just couldn't keep up with the flow and it killed me to take a step back away from something I loved doing so much. To back away from you guys.
I fell out of love with writing. It almost becAme like a chore and that's the truth of it. I don't mean that nastily and I don't blame anyone but myself for not pacing the content properly. I wanted to get it out as soon as id written it and them BAM only the next one.
My life has been hectic this year, so much going on within the family, so many things that have been planned. My hours at work have gone up as well which meant less time to focus on writing.
I love reading fanfic and I know I always will and I know I can fall in love with writing again, it's just going to take time to make time for it.
