Need to get away from all noise from the CITY! We live in the Bay Area, and we love to travel to Carmel/Monterey area at least 2-3 a year! This Monterey, CA, Mom&Pop chain produces the best deep-fat-fried balls of dough! The best item is their cinnamon roll doughnut (pictured to the left) - it is sweet, gooey and cinnamoney delicious. I have eaten at this establishment since I was a wee tot. My Grandpa used to play "hookie" and treat me to a morning of Red's with milk. What little girl wouldn't love a morning of sweetness with her "Grampy"?!?!
