Serbian Orthodox monastery Krka in Croatia.
First mentioned in 1345 as an endowment of Jelena NemanjiÄ Å ubiÄ. She was the daughter of the Serbian king Stefan DeÄanski and the half-sister of the Serbian emperor Stefan DuÅ”an. She was married to the Croatian nobleman Mladen III Å ubiÄ, the Prince of Bribir from the Å ubiÄ family. After the death of Prince Mladen, Princess Jelena ruled the Dalmatian towns of Skradin and Klis on behalf of their son Mladen IV.
