first things first that awful rat tail needs to get fixed. that trope with anime hair of short hair and long rat tail pisses me off so much you do not even know. so I would suggest either cutting it completely off or at least growing it out. maybe even getting a mullet if he wishes to. but still we need to fix that fucking hair and glasses and he'd honestly look so much better already.

as far as clothes go, I think just switching some colours just enough to not appear like an ice cream parlour employee and with the right fit, because that fucking droopy waistcoat is atrocious, is already enough.

Elle a une vie parfaite : deux enfants, un job qu’elle aime, et elle est mariée depuis 13 ans avec l’homme idéal. Mais elle en veut plus : elle est folle amoureuse de son mari, comme lors de leurs premières passions. Alors elle analyse chaque instant passé avec lui (pourquoi ne lui a-t-il pas souhaité bonne nuit ? pourquoi a-t-il pris son téléphone alors qu’ils regardaient un film tous les deux ? et surtout, pourquoi est-ce qu’il l’a comparée à une clémentine ?) et note tout consciencieusement. À chaque faute qu’il commet, elle le punit. Il a préféré son téléphone au film ? Elle loupera intentionnellement deux appels, et décrochera au troisième. Du lundi au dimanche, on suit ce couple avec fascination.

Pendant les deux-tiers du livre, on se dit que bon, elle est vraiment amoureuse de son mari (peut-être un peu trop). Elle est jalouse et possessive, et suranalyse chaque détail. On est plongée dans sa tête, et tous les personnages sont vus à travers son regard à elle (les enfants n’ont pas de nom, le mari non plus ; il reste perpétuellement « mon mari »). La pression ne fait qu’augmenter : pendant le dernier tiers du roman, ça atteint des proportions… bref, on se dit « ok, elle est vraiment tarée » ! Et énorme plus : la fin ne retombe pas en soufflé (d’ailleurs elle est assez énorme), et ça c’est super chouette !

C’est un livre complètement dingue et addictif, qui m’a énormément plu ! Et visiblement, il a plu à beaucoup de monde aussi (et en librairie — pour le moment il n’est plus disponible, j’espère qu’il va partir en réimpression assez vite !).

Today, we celebrate our five months of loving each other on our honeymoon in the Maldives, never leaving each other's side. As long as I have you, I know everything will be okay because you're all I ever need. You are the love of all my lifetimes, my soulmate, my other half, my protector, my number one supporter, my best critic, my best friend, and any other cute and cringy things.

So as I say every day: thank you for being mine, thank you for choosing me like I chose you, thank you for standing by my side, thank you for holding me and my heart, thank you for never letting me go, thank you for allowing me a dorky idiot and joining me sometimes, thank you for the kisses and sweet words, but most importantly: thank you for being you. I love you and every perfect imperfection you have. My love for you has only ever grown since I met you, even with our mistakes. I loved you then, I love you more now, and I'll love you even more in our future together.
