I was wondering if in your travels you had come across any fics that rewrite season 9, so that Mulder didn't leave, BUT also keep going with something that looks like the plot of season 9. Not necessarily the exact plot (since it’s bonkers), but something where Mulder and Scully have to deal with the larger Mytharc while being parents. Falling In And In by Aloysia_Virgata is the closest I’ve come to what I’m looking for. 

And just to be clear, I love fics like Terra Firma by Malibusunset and Hurricane Season by Beduini and Rah, but they aren’t quite what I’m looking for in this case.

But really, I do love Captain Proton. I think for me Captain Proton represents the fun, light-hearted, silly, and ridiculous (but still earnest) side of Star Trek that I love so much. Sometimes we are allowed to just have a little fun. :D

my rating of the ship from 1-10: Oh gosh. I do so love them. They are not the most conventional ship (like, are they endgame? do I even want them to end up together? I don’t know!), but they are truly amazing partners, in everything. I could watch them struggle to overcome obstacles together forever. 8/10.

Way to not fuck around. 

Right now the first thing that comes to mind is generally my anxiety and specifically my hatred of speaking to people on the phone. Half of my job these days is talking to people on the phone, and while i CAN do it, I don’t WANT to. It’s SO draining, and it really makes me wish I could just be a normal person for once. 

I’m with Mr. Sexblouse on the peaches and cottage cheese. But my dad like that…

Hm… My husband seems to think that peaches and cottage cheese is a weird combo, but I think it’s delicious. But I maintain that it is legit delicious, so I don’t know if that counts. 

I also like “tuna with cheese on bread” as my mother called it, which I guess is a lazy open faced tuna melt, and I’m pretty sure you at least would find that gross, but it’s more just because you are opposed to canned tuna than to the favor combo. 

Um... I put hot sauce on everything, but I think that’s pretty legit. 

Even when I was pregnant I don’t think I did any weird flavor combos. I did have a redonkulous craving for sugar, but just pure sugar. Skittles. Sour patch kids. SUGAR. No weird combos though.
