a part of me chooses to believe that Christophe actually faked the boys out just so they'd leave him alone

the girls! giving everyone cute vintage outfits was just for fun, but they all look so cute that i kinda wanna stick with it haha

companion post to this, thinking of the Disneyesque harmonies and general vibe at the opening of Mountain Town and thought it’d be funny and cute to embrace it

bringing back glasses Christophe because i still feel strongly and dearly about this. he refuses to wear them, even though he probably should... moles have bad eyesight!

he does it on purpose

thinking about the appeal these guys have for me... i love when the kids act like the dumb stupid crass little kids they are and i think i latch onto characters like Christophe and Gregory the most for this reason. it's cool and fun to draw them all rugged and badass... but realistically a kid that walks around with a rope and shovel all the time is going to look so stupid. that shovel is going to be huge that belt is huge that rope is huge. instead of looking like a cool badass kid who smokes cigarettes and hates god you just look like a dweeb. AND you're grounded by your mommy. so this was a quick attempt to sort of visualize what i mean.. and also just get used to drawing him again
