I cried a little bit ngl when I brought Molecule home....it's been abt a year????? Close to 2, I think, since I had Juno.
He was my beautiful betta fish!! I was so charmed by how pretty and elegant he looked. He was so smart!!! He recognized me and knew when I approached the tank first thing in the morning it was feeding time, and he'd swim up to me whenever I sat by his tank and would let me watch him. I got hi. When he was about 2 years old so I only had him for a little over a year. We have snails, so when he passed he kept them well fed, but I was still so devastated and cried for hours the first time I did a water change where I didn't have to chase him away from the Tuube.
I was so, so hesitant on bringing Molecule home because I'm not sure if I'll be ready to handle her death. I was so certain Juno died to my negligence or poor husbandry, despite the fact that I Knew bettas had relatively "short" lives compared to humans. 5 is *old* for a betta, that's elderly, and I knew I got him as an adult. Toby has been keeping fish for ages, he taught me how to take care of Juno, so I know logically it was no failure on my part. But still, my self loathing is THAT powerful.
Molecule is a little baby, and I so desperately hope I get to spend a few years with her, and I can't wait to get to know her. She seems so feisty already even tho it's only day 2 of having her home, and I'm so excited to get to know her. I'm watching her swim around and eat her little baby pellets and square up at the snails (Juno did too at first until he figured out they literally can't and won't bother him) and try to figure out What The Fuck That Is. She's such a beautiful little girl and I can't wait to watch her grow up.
Here she is lookin' at some rocks
Minimalist cortisol molecule design inspired by science, calm energy, and stress-free living. Clean lines, subtle statement, and modern aesthetic for those who protect their peace and move differently.
āPerhaps the rivers of ink that have been expended discussing the nature of the ācontinuousā over the centuries, from Aristotle to Heidegger, have been wasted. Continuity is only a mathematical technique for approximating very finely grained things. The world is subtly discrete, not continuous. The good Lord has not drawn the world with continuous lines: with a light hand, he has sketched it in dots, like the painter Georges Seurat.ā

Basic Difference Between an Atom and a Molecule
A Natural Molecule Shows Surprising Power Against Alzheimerās - Science News
Scientists have uncovered how a molecule called spermine, naturally produced by the body, helps cells neutralize toxic protein buildups linked to Alzheimerās and Parkinsonās. By encouraging these harmful strands to cluster together, much like cheese gathering spaghetti, cells can more easily recycle and remove them through autophagy. Experiments in tiny nematodes show the molecule boostsā¦
