Moersleutel Fruit Bomb DIPA (Picked up at Sterk in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. As you might expect, this has a huge and pungent tropical fruit presence in the nose from the hops, as well as a lot of tropical fruit behind it. Pineapple is dominant although there's quite a lot for complexity here. The body has some nice fruity sweetness that fades to a more aggressive hop bitterness. Still, on the fruit and sweet side of things.

Moersleutel Arts & Crafts West Coast IPA (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. Mostly pine and resin in the nose, which is a nice change of pace, and has a really well-balanced lighter body. Higher carbonation, and bitter on balance.

Moersleutel Cuppa Craft British Stout (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. At 12%, this is decidedly un-British ABV-wise, but it delivers a really interesting big stout with British ingredients. Really nice creamy and smooth mouthfeel and a lot of complexity to the roast -- some nice complex coffee and chocolate notes.

Moersleutel Crank the Juice Hazy IPA (Picked up at Albert Heijn in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. Quite a lot of orange citrus and fainter tropical fruit in the nose. The body is thicker and bigger than expected, given the relatively low ABV, and this is nice and refreshing and juicy through the finish.

Moersleutel Motor Oil Imperial Stout (Picked up at an Albert Heijn in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. A really good example of the style -- slightly thick, oily, and has a ton of roast and chocolate to it. Some coffee-like notes and more complexities surface as this warms a bit, and of course, the 12% warms things up in the background. Pleasantly surprised by the complexity to the malt character here, and is nicely balanced and has some sticky lacing, too.

Moersleutel + Ophiussa Constrictor NE IPA (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. Nice bright fruity and wine-like hop notes in the nose and a lighter, slightly creamy body. Quite well balanced with a dry bitterness that fades in towards the finish. Unique and interesting hop profile, and a solid base.

Moersleutel + Galea Raisin Awareness for Dried Grapes Rye Wine (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. So, this is a bit weird, given the raisin qualities are quite prominent, but this really grows on me as it warms a bit (and the 12% takes effect). There’s a nice amount of spiciness from the rye and moderate hop bitterness in the body to help cut the relatively aggressive sweetness from the raisins up front.

Moersleutel Motueka x7 NE DIPA (Picked up at de Bierkoning in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. Lighter body and bright citrus and lime in the nose, as well as some more interesting vegetal notes behind it. Quite easy-drinking for the 8.5% ABV, and has a nice aggressive bitterness in the finish. Bright hop profile and well-balanced.
