Modfunk is a Polish well known electronica-based pop act duo in Poland quite often compared in the media to Daft Punk. Guys never denied their fascination with the French scene. Their productions were remixed by French artists such as Demon ("You Are My High" Grammy nominated) Da Fresh. On their album "Emofunk" appeared Philippe Zdar, an artist from remarkable Cassius band. Modfunk image is smilliar to Daft but completely different, referring to rally racing drivers and created in post production studio for the purpose of the music video called Souler and further phase of "Superfuzja" album creation. First of all there was a digital art concept of two guys: Karol Zakrzewski and Bartek Macias who at that time were working at the Orka film studio. Debiut album was entirely built on this image. An archival photo publibshed to this article has been taken in 2001 by polish-american photographer Marcin Żurawicz alias MaZu Photography at the Warsaw Stock Exchange Center. Interestingly, the Daft Punk "Discovery" album comes out the same year. Modfunk releases an album year after. Photographic styling announces a new image of artists, but they are not yet a rally drivers from pop art graphics. Helmets and vests are motorcycle clothing. Commemorating this image and the music achievements of the band this year, our brand will release the album titled "The Best Of". Characters in helmets appearing in the mirror of the elevator from the stock center building will appear on the main cover. Ten the best of Modfunk dance music tracks will be available this month on 30th June, 2018. Songs that have been selected sound all the time fresh and very current.
