What to Expect, When You're Expecting || Lucy & Leo
Reading the second latest People magazine, Lucy sat in the waiting room along side her husband in the ultrasound center. She sighed at the latest article about Jackie Kennedy and the love, betrayal, and regret she felt with John F. Kennedy. She looked around at the other pregnant women. Some far along, some not to but all there to do the exact same thing. Putting the magazine down on the coffee table, she picked a new one: Parenthood. The cover had a happy couple with their own children. The man looked at his partner in awe as the kids smiled at the camera. Some of them looked as if they were missing a few teeth. She opened the book and skimmed through it until she found the "New Parent" section. Lucy was thankful for the information of motherhood that she wished was from her mother. Looking at Leo, she smiled showing him the room she had envisioned for their own child. "Isn't this adorable?" She smiled before looking away to the picture and meeting his eyes again. Luc tilted her head, "You nervous?" Her tone was quiet and curious. She had never exactly gotten his true idea on all of this going on. It was to change the both of their lives.
