Now, the moment we've all been waiting for: our Modern Madness 2014 Championship Game! It's been a wild bracket season, with some pretty surprising upsets (like No. 1 Mid-Century Modern losing in the first round to No. 8, Organic Modern), but one thing has remained constant: good design reigns supreme.

Now, in the final game, crowd favorite (2) Industrial Modern is going against dark horse, (5) Scandinavian - and the match is sure to be the most exciting yet. Scandinavian just narrowly beat out (8) Organic Modern to make it to the final game, and we're excited to see what they bring when going against the design powerhouse, Industrial Modern.

The first round of our Modern Madness was off to an exciting start. With (8) Organic Modern taking down the front runner, (1) Mid-Century Modern in Game 1, things haven't slowed down since. 

In yesterday's final game of Round 1, the crowd favorite, (2) Industrial Modern took a big lead over (7) Retro Modern.

Industrial decor is cool. It's urban, with striking combinations like smooth metal and rustic wood. Industrial-style rooms have an edge to them - a raw grit that's both trendy and unique at the same time. It's without question one of our very favorite looks.

Retro decor, on the other hand, evokes the past in a way that makes it feel like the future. With curvy, stylized shapes and innovative materials, retro design captures the best of an iconic era with nostalgic charm and daring design.
