You’re telling multiple extremely dysphoric trans people that they underestimate dysphoria.

Plot twist, hun -- Just because someone doesn’t agree with you doesn’t make them cis and ignorant.

Oh my gosh. I’m just so shy. I dunno where to start. I’m always baffled that people just kinda ignore Awakening completely, despite excellent writing and fascinating looks into the “villain” race. Not to mention separated Anders and Justice. It makes me sad.

But despite characters being whaaateeever gender we want to headcanon them as no matter how impractical I have a feeling that, somehow, that wouldn’t be very well received. Almost like a certain faction of the fandom operates on obvious double standards or something. 

While worded a bit badly, I think this makes a good point, honestly. The issue with all headcanons, fundamentally, is when it erases major parts of someone’s history.

Krem didn’t come from nobility. There would be no necessary -pressure- to be heterosexual, despite stigmatizing in Tevinter society.

So, the idea of Krem pretending to be trans and dealing with the illegal situation to hide homosexuality seems a bit of a stretch, though I understand your point.
