hope's peak garden was an special spot for you and fuyuhiko, everyday he wasn't busy after class you two would hang out until the bell rang announcing the end of the day.

today was one of those days, the sun was beginning to set as you two hanged out after class. things progressed from just talking about your day to... this.

you weren't really sure what was happening but fuyuhiko seemed rather nervous as he blushed.

“are you alright fuyu?” you asked, voice laced with concern, it almost sounded like a whisper.

“yeah... it's just...fuck...” he reached out for one of your hands, taking your fingers in his and giving you a little squeeze.

he was frustrated. not at you, but himself. why couldn't he? why isn't he brave enough to give you a kiss? pathetic, he thought.

he looked at you with a conflicted expression that only made you more confused.

“hey, it's fine. are you telling me something? is there anything you want?” you told him, returning the hand squeeze he did before in an attempt to comfort him.

you know what? fuck it. “i want to kiss you” he didn't even think before telling you, he didn't even realize he had said it until your confused state faded into a blushing mess.

“s-sorry sorry, just forget about that” what's wrong with me? i'm really ruining it.

“wait! ...did you really mean it?” you asked

his breathing started to get irregular as well as his heart started to beat faster. he really meant it but he was afraid, and it was starting to get in his nerves.

“damn it why wouldn't I?”

you slowly rested your forehead against his, and closed your eyes, he tried to relax a little bit doing the same.

“it's ok fuyu. actually more than ok, I've been also wanting this...” you said with a slight smile, wrapping your arms around his (shoulders/neck depending on your height)

“ are'ya sure? I don't want to...make you uncomfortable or anything”

with your final nod, he took a deep breath and he gave you an experimental peck, he separated a second and with a sudden confidence boost he returned to your lips, nipping at them without much experience. you were no different trying to follow him and awkwardly failing.

after 1 minute or 2 of this inexperienced first kiss you separated, out of breath.

“it was your first, wasn't it?” you chuckled lightly.
