Hey guys! So... it’s been a LONG while since I posted here. My life just got too busy, as is did the other mods. So... I am reinvigorating this blog!

One of the reasons I will be doing your prompts over whumptobers, besides disliking AI slop, is because you are giving us 2 months ahead of time, which means not only will I have time to sketch all 30 prompts, but I'll be able to line and color most of them as well, without having to feel rushed or pressured for time!

what is "forced bitching" lol i've never seen those words next to each other in my life. enlighten me o wise mods
'Bitching' is an omegaverse specific trope where a character who is an alpha gets turned into an omega. Usually this happens through a combination of drugs and sexual stimulation that trigger a biological shift, though sometimes other things can factor into it (like receiving a mating bite from another alpha, long-term hormone treatment, or even a full surgical procedure). 'Forced bitching' is when this is done to an alpha without their consent.
Though as always, you're free to interpret any prompts on the list however you want. For example, people in our Discord were quick to point out that 'bitching' is also a synonym for 'complaining' or 'being mean/rude to people'. So alternative versions that were suggested for this prompt were a whumper forcing a whumpee to say mean things to their friends to drive a wedge between whumpee and their support system, or even a magical curse that causes whumpee to become unable to keep in negative thoughts (leading to them bitching about stuff all the time).
Hiii! Is the release date for the prompts this year similar or earlier to last year? I only discovered this account recently, but I really loved how writers have around 3 months to prepare since the other Whumptober barely gave time (only around 2 months or less iirc) to plan and write, so even slow writers or busy peeps had a chance to participate
AI-less Whumptober will be returning for 2026 yes!
We're putting the Google Form out later today for people to drop prompt suggestions in, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested in contributing to what ends up on the prompt list this year.
Hopefully, we will be able to release the prompt list around a similar time as last year (last year we did it on July 21).
Plausibly if I came here to ask if you're doing a prompt list for this year and scrolled and saw the asks about badges and everything nearly a year after doing your whumptober can I get a badge?? Is it too late I'm heartbroken
