Cauldron Clans: Memento Mori has now closed for public application! At the beginning of May this year, we’ll be opening our application forms so that anyone interested can sign up then. This will coincide with the end of our current story arc, Book One: Total War. Thus, it’ll be easy to hop into the new plot!

is this server openf or anyone to jump in and start? i saw an older ask about it but i also saw the rule about how it 'runs on referrals/sigh ups' so i was confused, are you guys only accepting referrals/sign ups?
Yes, we are open for anyone to jump in and start! Our referrals and sign up rule will be applied at a later date, when we close our open-gate.
when making an OC, is it necessary for a cat to fit the pelt descriptions given for each clan? is that a strict detail that must be followed?
It would be highly preferred, yes, but if you have a design that fits the vibes of the Clan at least you’re usually good to go! The goal is to know at a glance what Clan a cat is from.

(im just used to ones that present a form or something so i wanna make sure lol). additionally is there more context to how to make a family name? i dont totally understand what it entails/what can be made up for one by the documents provided- is there more info in the server for that? i wanted to figure out most of my oc before jumping in a server

Yes, simply hop into our discord to join in! We do have a Google doc form you’ll need to fill out, with a 4 sentence minimum personality and 3 sentence minimum backstory for characters that aren’t apprentices or kits.

A family name should be a characteristic of the Clan’s territory that the cat is from. For example, IsthmusClan family names in use right now are of the Tidepools, of the Shallows, of the Glowing Sea, etc! Thanks for the feedback, we’ll make sure to update the docs to be more clear!
