A thought: I’ve seen a lot of talk about how right/wrong the Dalish are when it comes to their history, and it’s really interesting to see! But when it comes to discussing how that validates Solas’ attitude towards them, it shouldn’t matter. It wouldn’t matter even if the Dalish got it so wrong that they thought Mythal was a talking horse and the goddess of cheese. Culture develops, legend changes, and the worth/validity of a society shouldn’t be judged on its historical accuracy! The fact that Solas seems to judge places based off of how similar they are to how he left them, and how well they tracked that history, is one of the things about him that pisses me off the most. He claims to be rebel and a revolutionary, but refuses to accept change that doesn’t suit him.
