„Some photographs I took at yesterday’s Ezidi new year celebration in Lalish. The strength and resilience of this community never ceases to amaze me. Despite the horrors they faced, they are unified around their identity. Çarşema Serê Salê pîroz be to all my Ezidi friends!“

With my work I want to give a view into an ancient religion which had to face much oppression in their history. In this way I would like to change the perception of the ethnic-religious minority by others and shed light on their faith which many people don’t even know or misinterpreted due to lack of knowledge.
