-he has.....mixed feelings about the whole affair. It’s loud, hot, and the sun is reflecting off the surface of the water and giving him a headache. it would probably be best to take him when he’s not super shaky. take him in the morning when it’s cooler out and you got yourself a very happy boy. (not that he would complain if he wasn’t)

-he’d be too shy to take off his shirt unfortunately.

-sunscreen? you bet your ass he is packing SPF 189378234 and applying every twenty to forty minuets as directed. 

-he does know how to swim, he has for a very long time, but he’s out of practice. He’ll stick to where he can touch before venturing into the deeper water. once he gets the hang of things again, he really starts to enjoy himself.

-he’s only ever had to swim in life or death situations before. (falling off boats, getting pushed into a river, jumping into a lake to try and escape the mob with pitchforks chasing after you, that sorta stuff.) he’s never had the chance to just swim for fun and he finds it very relaxing.

-he LOVES the hot tub! he can never seem to be warm enough, even on hot summer days like these, so getting to steep himself in a bowl of hot water is a much needed treat.

-what? oh, you want to share a floatie? with him??? and just....chill on the lazy river? th-that’s fine!

-goes on one(1) water slide and decides that he would much rather keep both feet planted firmly on the ground thank you very much

-get him a snowcone! he deserves it! as a treat! He’s gigling uncontrolably when he sticks his tongue out to show you that it’s stained bright red

-this man? absolute menace.

-you take your eye off of him for 0.0009 seconds and he is halfway across the park shoving people and trying to cut in line.

-take him on a day where it’ll be less crowed, for his sake and yours

-his favorite area is the kiddie pool. He says it’s because he likes how colorful and fun it is, but you’re pretty sure he just likes pushing over small children. Keep an eye on him just in case.

-despite your efforts to make sure billy gets sunscreen, he ends up looking like a lobster at the end of the day. prepare for tears and whines on the drive home. Let’s hope you have some aloe vera gel at your house.

-would want to share a bananana split with you

-loves play fighting in the water, splashing, throwing you in, all that stuff. he doesnt even mind when you get him back by pushing his head under

-honestly doesn’t know what to do with himself. he never in his whole ass life got the chance to go to a water park, much less a public pool. he had swimming lessons of course, when he was very young, but his parents didn’t like mingling with “the lower class”, so he never got to go.

-he hates being splashed or having his head dunked, but he *loves*, to dive. like LOVES to dive. you know those weighted rings/sticks that you throw in and then dive to get? those are his jam. asks you constantly to throw them for him so he can see if he can get them all before they reach the bottom of the floor, timing how fast it takes him to get them all.
