☆ It’s time for the Week Two Sign-ups!

As promised, we are re-opening sign ups for a second lot of intakes to join in starting week two. These members will be added to existing teams in order to even them out and expand.

☆ A 7th Team?

Due to a large number of sign-ups and the practicality of hosting such big teams, we are considering having a seventh team available. If needed, new members and potentially ones from existing teams will get the chance to join this team.

Earlier today we held a secret challenge in which certain members had to perform a hidden task for points. This took place over the period of an hour in the team servers.

☆ The Challenge: Dopplegangers

Twelve members, 2 from each team, were tasked with disguising themselves as one of the others and invading the server of who they were impersonating. Teams were then informed of a suspicion change within their server and, with 3 guesses available to them, had to work out what had happened.

In the end, Team Ichi took the lead, working out exactly what happened and who was missing in a brisk 10 minutes. The rankings were as follows:

Team Jyushi came in last, not being able to find the members in the allotted time frame. This left @dibbydoodles and @skipzophreniic as the winning players.

From Challenge Three, there were a number of amazing entries which have been nominated by team members as leaders to be voted upon as the winning entry of the game. These are a combination of solo and group projects from each team.

Well done, you got past Challenge One! Now your team has a name for itself and a sense of community. So, what’s next?

☆ The Challenge: Introductions

Although your team is well known, not everyone knows the individual members of each team. Even worse, some players may not be familiar with everyone in their own team.

Your challenge involves getting your name out as a proud team member in whatever way you can. 

However, as usual, points will be accredited for the originality of your idea. If you want to score those extra points, think beyond ‘Meet the Artist’ lists and start brainstorming something that will beat the other teams in the knees.

This team goes for 48 hours and thus ends 3am EST of the 15th. 

It’s time for the first challenge to begin.

Well, more or less. As you may know the first Matsu Games Challenge was announced and began earlier today. Here is a more in-depth explanation of the challenge, what it entails, how to participate, and how to win.

☆ The Challenge: Getting the Word Out

Congratulations! You’ve been picked for one of the teams in the Matsu Games! You’re starting to get along with other members, play fun pranks on your rivals, and are overly eager for the challenges to start so you can lead your team to victory.

However, there’s one thing. Your team doesn’t quite have any fans or even a home-base set up. Your first challenge is to fix that.

This challenge will go for 48 hours with the goal being to boost your team and its blog as much as possible. The winning team will be judged on how many follower’s they have by the end of this time, how many people submit, and the originality of ideas used in submissions.

This challenge closes midnight the 12th EST.
