Finishing of Ambrosia Part 3!
my process is a lot less involved than Mynes since i do everything digitally! that being said, it DOES take a few hours to color a page. i didnt think to take any progress pics and ive already deleted the art program files for the pages so ur just gonna have to trust me on this one ^^; to make up for that, heres the color ref sheet for the little filler arc were doing o_o! omg spoilers what!!!
im probably going to make separate color refs for each issue we do, just so i dont end up with a huge file that i cant find anything on.
i used firealpaca to color pages 12-25, but something about the comic making process just didnt work well with the program, so i finally decided to upgrade after using firealpaca for 5-ish years.
now i work in clip studio paint and do any lineart i add with a pencil brush (i sometimes have to dupe the layer to get the right opacity tho). to color the pages, i set the lineart i get from myne as a multiply layer and keep it at the very top unless i have to add something to the lines. each panels background is colored with several different layers to make things as painless as possible for me, but characters (which are MUCH simpler) usually get 1-2 layers each.
