Shout out to the busy Jews
The Jews who only come to services on holidays
The Jews who Friday is their only free time and they need it to recover from the week
The Jews who want to learn more but don’t have the time
You’re not any less Jewish. HaShem loves you
Shout out to Jews who work on Shabbat and so can’t observe at all or as much as they’d like to!
Jews who are passionate about their job and just want to keep doing it!
Jews who don’t have a choice because of hours, lack of money, capitalism, etc.!
Jews who work a student job!
Jews who are in the health field!
Secular Jews!
Jews who fill in for sick coworkers!
Jews who feel guilty for it! Jews who don’t! Jews who used to!
Jews who work every Shabbat, and Jews who work most, and Jews who just work some!
Jews who go to Saturday services!
Jews who have to drive on Shabbat for work!
You’re still valid, and you’re not a bad Jew! Sometimes things come up. You’re not bad for not being able to fulfill this! You can still be a good Jew if you don’t observe all (or any) shabbats! It’s ok 💖

Shout out to the Jews that want to do Aliyah and can’t

The Jews who don’t have the spoons to pray
The Jews that can’t eat kosher
You’re valid! You aren’t any less of a Jew!
Shout out to the poor Jews!
The Jews who want to wear tallit but can’t afford it
The Jews who can’t keep kosher because it’s too expensive
The Jews who can’t buy Shabbat candles cuz that’s their gas money
The Jews who can’t afford tichels or kippot, or a Magen David
The Jews who can never afford Aaliyah
You’re so valid!!!! Ily!!!

Shout out to nonwhite and non Ashkenazi born Jews! Y’all don’t get the recognition you deserve
It’s the new year, and I have a lot of thoughts on Judaism and love.
How do we love?
How can we use love to grow?
How do we use love to help our communities?
How do we honor love while taking care of ourself?
How do we show love? How do we like to be shown love?
Do we feel loved by G-d? Does G-d show they love us, and if so, how?
Is love anything without action?
When did I feel loved this year?
How can I show or feel more love in the coming year?
I’d love to hear your thoughts but also I think these are all things we can reflect on together. Happy new year and Rosh Hashana, friends
