Kith, also known as hearted, is an otherkin term for relating to an animal, mythical creature, or fictional character among other things.

The brown stands for those relating to nature and animals

The cream stands for those relating to otherworldly galaxies/aliens

The lavender stands for common mythical creatures such as dragons and unicorns

And the indigo stands for those relating to fictional characters

Hello and greetings! This is the Astronauts from @dr-goodnight! I joined this blog after Beat made a post asking if anyone would like to help run this blog. A few parts may help coin genders or otherkin terms, but it'll mainly just be the current host and co-host(s) who are active. OSDD-1. P.S, please don't call my alters/parts 'headmates' or any other terms like that, it makes us uncomfortable. We also switch between using We/I a lot, so sorry if it is confusing.

// That’s a fantastic question!! My first piece of advice is don’t worry about getting a crazy theme like this one, they’re nice but they’re super not required and can be a pain to set up. //

// But, aside from that: A good place to start is with a Rules and an About page! A rules page helps outline what you will and won’t accept, and can help people know how they can interact with you without crossing any boundaries. An About page is typically for your muse (your character) however, and helps people get introduced to your character! Even if you’re doing a canon character, it’s good to have an about so people know what YOUR version of them is like (because people interpret characters differently). // 

// If your blog is focused on a character from a game or other media, it’s also good to avoid tagging your posts with tags typically used by the fandom (examples for us would be “fnf boyfriend,” “Pico,” etc). It can be a bit frustrating seeing a tag full of rp posts and ic ask answers from a character when you’re trying to find art or headcanons, so it’s a good point of respect to avoid flooding the main tags with that. (A good place to use those tags would be if you did a larger piece of writing or art, or for promo posts!) //

// My last piece of beginner advice is to be prepared for people to A: Not send you asks, and B: Not want to interact with you. Getting consistent asks can be REALLY hard (But it’s absolutely ok to send yourself asks sometimes), and basing your creative drive on that is a dangerous road to go down. //

// If you’re more focused on the RP aspect, then definitely be aware that no one is required to interact with you for any reason. For some people, you being inexperienced may be something that makes them hesitant to interact with you, and while that is hard to hear, trying to push it will only make people much less open to interacting. I know the experienced people tend to look super cool and well put together, but don’t forget that you probably aren’t the only beginner out there, and there may be other people looking for interactions as much as you are! //
