It works out because Lee is on the right side of bad (at least enough for Meg– like he’s not a total sweet thing who’ll make her vomit) and Meg’s on the right side of good to not screw him over completely. She isn’t filled with pure evil like she was in season one. She’s chilled a little.

Of course, Meg has always said they’re just fuck-buddies…that they’ve got a deal going…but there’s no use hiding it anymore that he’s the closest thing she’s come to loving someone in such a good way. He knows it and she knows that he knows, yet she’s more comfortable not acknowledging it.

Almost like a police uniform, a way to put out a signal that they were the authority now and ‘don’t worry ma’am, we’ll take care of it.’. 

Then he had entered her life and he’d worn a lot of plaid too. It was just a piece of fabric, that shirt, and she ignored it. Knew what he was of course, but she chose to ignore the fact that the shirt was a reminder of who exactly she was sleeping with at night. 

But then came a night when he was snoring and cuddling up just too close and Meg had to escape for a little while. Light footsteps against the cold floor as she walked out of the bedroom, the low temperature wrapped around her nude form.

His shirt was on the couch and she eyed it as if it were the enemy. Or at least a big glowing sign, flashing and screaming about her sins with him. Because they were sins, in a way. At least to the demon. And it wasn’t all about the sex, that hardly mattered. 

No, the fact was that she liked the sex, liked his warm embrace...kept coming back for it too. His humor and his personality was right up her alley as well. Just on the right side of bad to make her like him.

The soft fabric was gliding between her fingers as she took a closer look. It smelled like him, why was that a reassuring thing? 

The demon slipped it on, buttoning up a few of the buttons and glancing down at her stolen form. It felt like wearing something forbidden, even if that did sound idiotic. 

Maybe plaid wasn’t so bad. Maybe hunters weren’t so bad. Maybe her heart wasn’t completely made of stone, like Lucifer had made them. 

Who would be the big spoon?

Lee will always be the big spoon, he’s also the one to initiate cuddle-sessions and the only way to do that is to pull Meg close and wrap his arms around her. So yes, big spoon.

Who would wake up first?

Meg doesn’t sleep (Except AtE verse) but Lee is allergic to sleeping in late so he would (and does) get up first.

Do they have nicknames for each other?

Darling, sweetheart, honey, buttercup…

What happened when they met each other’s parents?

Lee will never get the chance to meet Meg’s parents unless someone wants to go for Lucifer as daddy/mommy dearest. If Lee ever meets Lucifer…well shit will probably go down.

I just realized that Lee’s parents might be in Hell? And there actually could be a chance for her to meet them? I’m fairly sure a half-assed polite conversation would take place, but she would always punch them if she saw they were mean to her little hunter. Oh, such a sap.

How do they apologize after an argument?

Rarely by saying “I’m Sorry”. They work in hot kisses and possibly booze, always avoiding the topic a little. Meg finds it hard to say sorry, mostly thanks to her lack of regret. 

What would they be like as parents?

Lee would be fantastic as a father, no matter what he might think of himself. He would probably be a little of an ass as well, but he’d be a loving, supportive and caring father. I get the feeling he might spoil them a little as well? Meg would be an incredibly loving mother and very protective of her child. Being a kid to a demon and a hunter will probably bring forth a childhood filled with lessons on how to kick ass, protect ones ass and hide ones ass. 

Who is more romantic?

Meg will deny this so hard so I’ll go with Lee. They’re not overly romantic, but they have their cute little moments. 

What sort of gifts do they get for each other?

Most of the times it’s alcohol or something the other might need, it’s rarely anything touchy-feely. 

Who gets jealous easiest?

Do I even need to reply to this? It’s Lee and always will be Lee. He might think he owns Meg, but we all know who the dominant one is in this ship.

Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas?

Meg doesn’t know when Lee’s birthday is and she doesn’t exactly want to celebrate how old she is. Meg gets excited for Christmas simply because Lee hates it. 

Who is the most adventurous?

Meg probably. She’s kinda got a childlike view of the world and is easily amused and sort of fascinated by humans who aren’t out to kill her. She loves a little risk now and again, makes life more fun.

Who is the most protective?

In AtE verse they are equally protective. They’re  protective-ish of the other in tumblr verse as well, but Meg rarely shows him that. 

What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?

Really fucking weird. I’m imagining a demon Meg in a young meat suit now and back then she would probably have toyed a lot more with him, play the childhood sweetheart… But of course one can only play for so long until she actually starts liking him or bring him down. He would probably have no idea of what she really is until she has to leave him for Azazel’s and Lucifer’s cause… I’m not sure if this ramble qualifies as a reply. If they both were human sweethearts though… Meg would be the cool badass kid and Lee would probably be that too (Or the others would be scared of him maybe?) and they could bond over badassery. Drinking and smoking for the first time together etc..
