out of curiosity (& bc i'm looking for a silken and live in california), which breeder did you adopt oberyn from?
Oddly enough, we didn’t get him from California (despite the fact that California has the highest Silken population). I seem to have a knack for falling for dogs on the opposite side of the country haha. He’s from Pennsylvania, and was bred by these fine folks! There are tons of wonderful breeders here though. Joyce Chin of Talisman is a dear friend of mine, and her Silkens are the ones that often appear in my hiking and beach videos. Though since she’s a big fancy pants artist for Marvel, she hasn’t had time to breed in a long time. Still, if you’re willing to wait, she’d be my #1 recommendation. Her hounds are awesome and she’s a really sweet and funny person :)Sue from Wyndolyn and Cindy Dell from Morgandell are two others that I’ve met at race meets. Really kind people with nice dogs!
