We genuinely need to have more tales like Payday cuz the idea of the SCP Foundation personnel being so used to the eldritch world ending horrors beyond your imaginations that it's gotten to a point where they've all became so desensitized from it they don't even feel afraid of most non anomalous threats anymore.
Like imagine a house robber breaking into a person's house and then the robber suddenly hears a sound and turns around to see a random very sleep deprived disheveled researcher threatening him with a gun at the end of the hallway, with nothing but spite (of the fact that they disturbed they're sleep) to fuel them.
Or an agent with their friends when they all witness a brutal murder happen in front of them and the others are traumatized while the agent is like "Oh no. They killed them. Anyways you guys wanna get something to eat?"
