Random af thought I had while driving. Remember in poa when Sirius is trying to get scabbers + he can't easily bc of the golden trio? Well he's basically like FUCK IT and does not give a single shit that he's hurting a 13/14 y/o boy in his pursuit. This is the same reckless and selfish behavior he exhibited in his "means to an end" actions w the shrieking shack incident and I'm thinking Sirius is just rly impulsive? He does what he thinks needs to be done RIGHT NOW, and I think he's v motivated by his anger. I think he's patient but not when the opportunity presents itself (and by *the* opportunity, I mean literally ANY opportunity). So he gets himself often into these situations where he thinks he's doing the Right or Noble thing and it's really all kinds of fucked up. Bless ur heart, Sirius Black. It's in the right place, your plans (or courses of action, however little thought out they are) need some more reflection
