Mom. No word has been ottered by me more over the past 28 years. I am so blessed and grateful to call this woman, this queen, this goddess my mother. You have sacrificed so much for me.. more than I'll ever know. Just so I can have a less than fair shot out here... but just a shot has been enough so far π From all those late nights when my asthma was bad and my chest was wheezing to being my number 1 cheerleader during every sports season. On the phone All Day with the folks in the Administration building at Howard making sure I was straight! To staying up all night& morning with me the day my father passed away. And everything in between. It's always been you Mom. Always. You. Showing me and teaching me with you words and actions how to be Fearless and Faithful. Tactful and Tough. I've inherited a heart of gold from you. I'm on the verge of tears typing this just thinking about how much you mean to me... If I could bring you the moon, it would have been in the driveway this morning! That's how much you deserve! You not only just raised me but so many other children in our family & our community. Growing up it was hard having to accept that.. looking back now I love you so much more for being a mother to so many who didn't have mothers or have anyone.
