The Walker Brothers - Shutout
1980. The Michael Schenker Group
is the first album by the guitarist Michael Schenker.
This is the first release by Michael Schenker's group called MSG, or the Michael Schenker group, for those who arent aware of who michael Schenker is, he was hired to play guitar in U.F.O before they were really well known he was playing guitar in the Scorpions with his older brother Rudolph Schenker, this album is a look into the amazing guitar prowess of the one and only Michael Schenker also known as the Blonde Bomber!
this is when Michael was in his prime. great album and already have it, Β if he brought these songs to UFO and UFO made this album. It would have been the album that made UFO a house hold name. A must Β for anyone that likes Rock N Roll.

The albums, such as Tusk, Dazzle Ships and Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino among others, signify the musicians who made them are willing to challenge themselves. Nonetheless, a question remains β do these LPs represent an aberration in their discographies or are they a sign of a different path they plan to take? Climate Of Hunter by the recently departed Scott Walker is the latter. I am sure many were shocked over the disc, Walker said goodbye to his pop side on this collection of tunes, yet he didnβt change his course after the reception of the platter. No, he actually doubled down on the qualities which caused many who knew him from his heartthrob times to be upset. Thus, Climate Of Hunter should be seen as the best possible version of Tusk thanks to what Mr. Walker did next.
Gerry Rafferty-Get It Right Next Time
There's something funny about these mercurial musical figures. This quality of theirs doesn't always necessitate a commercial success for them. Mind you, we shouldn't see this as a set rule β some examples I'll mention in the next posts shall prove that β, though someone like Scott Walker β you notice I'll talk of him from my link β could've had a potential for a blockbuster career. Of course, we all know he decided to forgo that in favour of his own idiom. Therefore, I do understand why some people have a lot of problems with his work after Nite Flights, though they must recall a continuity stays. You see, Scott Walker on his early records and on his consequent discs occur on the same places, he only used a collection of different focal points later on.
