Summary: February Ficlet Challenge (catchup), Day 17: Aviator tries to impress Tremus at a charity event. Unfortunately, Avi's an idiot.

If Avi had known Tremus was also going to be at the charity shindig too, he would have signed up faster than Speed Racer could cross the finish line.
Mighty Number 6 fell in love with the stonehearted Tremus the moment he first saw her in the Colosseum. Her deep purple coloring made her stand out in both the workplace (which, for her, were gem refinery mines) and formal settings. Avi just knew that the right joke would make her fall head over heels for him. It was just a matter of time.
And the time to strike that match was about to happen once more. This was going to be the opportunity of the ages. Avi just needed to play it cool.
“Hark! A majestic collection of xel has come thine way!” Avi loudly declared the moment Tremus entered eyerange. Hearing him immediately made Tremus flinch. All it did was give Avi the confidence needed to approach her directly.
After -flips notes- a year, chapter 2 for my Mighty No 9 IF fangame is complete! Enjoy some preview screenies to celebrate!
The opening and ending of the chapter needs bg music (or commanded for the opposite), and I'm SURE there's some typos that need ironing out. Since I moved to the most recent version of Videotome ADV, I think the spacing in the font got wacky too, so I'll figure that out eventually.
(it's the size I want, but the kerning between letters can make it hard to read)
Only one more chapter to go! Can it be done in two weeks?!!!
