besides the inaccuracy, they’ve clearly never actually had to teach a kid how to color lol. you’re not born with fine motor skills man someone had to teach you!

like i had this whole discussion about how for some ec students as well as for pre-k and kindergarten, coloring is actually beneficial for that reason
but then when you get into like first grade and up, coloring is not a primary thing, but like a tool??? or an extra thing???
like do a worksheet where you have to color something blue if it’s true and red if it’s false
or do a foldable where you have to fill out information on the solar system and you have to color it when you’re done to help you study for a test (like mars is called the RED planet for a reason. a white circle will NOT get that across)
or for some kids who are artsy and want to make an artsy project at the end of the unit to get their message across, coloring usually comes in handy for those sort of projects
