Rest in peace Yogi Berra (1925-2015). World series champ with Yankees and manager of the Mets and Yankees. One of the greatest catchers and personalities the game of baseball has ever produced. Known for his “Yogisms” which my dad lovingly passed on to me as I grew up. “When you come to the fork in the road, take it!” “It’s deva vu all over again!” “I looked like this when I was young and I still do.” New York fans of both pinstripes and metropolitans - as well as baseball fans across the world, weep today. The game has lost one of its all time greats and the truest friend the game has ever had.
