Marinette was hiding behind the bushes, watching Adrien’s photoshoot.
It was her usual spot, as she couldn’t just walk around pretending she had some business here every time Adrien was working in this park.
Because it would look suspicious, and then Adrien would understand she was following him. And then he’d think she was a stalker, and he wouldn’t want to see her anymore.
And they wouldn’t go on a perfect date, and wouldn’t get married, and have three kids, and a house, and a little pat hamster...
“Right on time.” Marinette heard a familiar voice behind her back and startled.
She was too distracted daydreaming, and didn’t see him coming. The sneaky devil. He knew the place she was hiding in, and was coming every time just to annoy her.
Felix.
Two cousins, like two sides of the coin. Though they looked alike, the two boys had totally different personalities.
Adrien was nice and polite with everyone. He was soft and sweet. Flawless and dreamy. Felix could be grumpy and rude. He was presumptuous and assertive. Manipulative and pushy.
Since the day Felix found her hideout, he was here every time, almost like an annoying partner in crime, distracting her from her main task of admiring Adrien from a distance.
It was her only choice to observe him, since Marinette couldn’t really talk to Adrien properly. She was already seventeen, but still couldn’t overcome her anxiety. She was forgetting and confusing words, stammering and murmuring next to him. She was too shy to ask him out or make any movement towards her perfect future with him.
One would ask, how would she come to her dream then? But Marinette had it all covered. Because according to her dreams, one day Adrien would wake up and see just how nice and beautiful she was. He’d come to her himself, and would tell her how much he loved her, and ask her on a date. Then they’d get married, and have tree kids, and a pat hamster.
Maybe after the years of pining that dream became more like a habit, that Marinette was so used to having, she wasn’t sure how to be without it...
Felix made a step closer, so his chest almost touched her back, and Marinette fell out of her dream again. Why would he come here anyway? And be so persistent!
Marinette couldn’t really understand why was Felix was following her. He was as good looking as Adrien, and could have any girl he wanted. Well, any girl who would put up with his attitude and was good enough for his standards. Both of which Marinette both wasn’t.
So why trying to play his games on her? Couldn’t he see she was dreaming about his cousin?
The first time when Felix joined her, Marinette couldn’t shoo him away, because it would draw unnecessary attention, and Adrien would see her hiding. And this spot was too good to lose it just because someone decided to show up here. She didn’t expect him to start coming every single time!
Did he have a schedule of Adrien’s photoshoots on his wall as well?
Sometimes it felt like she knew all his tricks, that’s how much time they have already spent together, hiding in those bushes during Adrien’s photoshoots. And sometimes Marinette even thought that if one day Felix would finally left her alone, she wouldn’t be able to dream about Adrien properly without his cousin’s distractions, that’s how much she was used to them.
“You know we are almost identical.” Felix spoke in a low voice just next to her ear, standing behind her.
That was new. What other stupid game was he playing today?
“If I do my hair like he does, and if I wear the clothes he prefers, you won’t see any difference.”
“But I will feel it.” Marinette argued, finally admitting Felix’s presence. “Because you are evil. And he is nice and gentle.” She added, still watching Adrien at the fountain.
“Don’t worry,” Felix whispered. “I’ll be gentle with you.” And he ran his hand down her shoulder.
Marinette froze, feeling shiver running down her back from the unexpected touch. But it was only an accident, because she just wasn’t expecting it and was relaxed. Felix never touched her before. Well, not like this.
They have touched for a few times accidentally at school, six, no, seven. But every time it only was for a second. So Marinette just wasn’t prepared for a direct move from him.
Why would she even remember all those times well enough to be able to count them anyway?
“I will be so gentle,” Felix continued, now moving both his hands up along Marinette’s shoulders. “You will beg me to touch you harder.” He squeezed her slightly near her collarbones with a gentle massage movement.
And for a moment Marinette really felt like she wanted him to push a little stronger, so plesent and tempting was this sensation on her body, tired of the uncomfortable observer posture.
Or was he infusing it to her with it with his hypnotic words?
“It’ll be like a dream come true, without stuttering and pining.” Felix made another massaging movement, closer to her neck, but still not hard enough to let her relax her muscles. “Just you and him.” He whispered.
“It wouldn’t be him.” Marinette protested, not pushing his hands away though.
“It would in your perception.” Felix moved to the base of her neck, making her want his touch more, but not giving her a release.
“I would know it’s you.” Marinette said with a voice, that she hoped sounded confident, because now Felix’s hands were on her, and she knew it was him, and she couldn’t honestly say she disliked it.
“You can choose what you know.” He suggested, massaging her neck from behind with soft circling movements. “You could call me by his name.” His voice sounded harder now, but she could barely recognize this hardness.
“Why are you doing this, Felix?” She finally asked, as if he would just open his cards to her... “You know it won’t happen!” It was hard to keep her voice certain, when her body was working against her.
“But you want this, Marinette.” It looked like Felix didn’t even plan on stopping. “You want him to touch you.” He gently pulled the ties from her hair, and ran his fingers through them, massaging her skin, tired of ponytails.
Marinette threw her head back slightly, succumbing to a thousand goose bumps that ran through her body.
Damn it, he was good! But before today she only knew he was good with words. And she never believed him, because she just knew he couldn’t be trusted.
Because she could never tell what he really thought. And you can’t just trust something you can’t see through, can’t control.
So Marinette should just stay away from people like Felix, who could manipulate the situation in their favor. Which he probably was doing right now as well, even though she couldn’t understand what his exact purpose was.
But she must just take control of her body and...
“You want his hands slide down your sides.” Felix moved his fingers down her neck, then shoulders, then his hands moved along her sides. “You want to feel his breath on your skin.” Marinette felt him removing her hair from her neck and Felix’s hot breath burned her, forcing her muscles to melt obediently into powerless submission.
Why won’t she just stop him?!
His game of replacement didn’t work at all, because since his hands touched her, she totally forgot all about her mission on this hiding spot. Marinette wasn’t imagining Adrien, and her perception was full of Felix instead, and with his every movement she was becoming weaker, letting him lead her to the unknown territory.
And why was she even letting him do it to her?
The fact that she had studied him well during their hiding in the bushes, did not mean that she began to trust him. Just because she could recognize his tricks didn’t mean he would suddenly stop lying and playing. The fact that she was used to his presence didn’t mean that he became closer to her.
It didn’t, did it?
And she was definitely coming here every time to observe Adrien, not at all to meet Felix! And what if sometimes she was a little distracted arguing with Felix and didn’t notice Adrien was long gone?! It didn’t mean she changed the target!
Because Felix couldn’t be her target! He was evil! He was pushy! He was...
He was pushing her right now! With something hard...
“You want to feel, how much he wants you.” Felix whispered to her ear again, pressing his growing to her butt, and pulling her closer to him.
A faint moan escaped Marinette’s throat, so dumbfounded she was at how hard Felix felt.
“You want him to tell you how special you are.” He continued in the meantime, slipping his palms onto her thighs. “How out of all the girls around he doesn’t see anyone but you.” His fingers pressed lightly into her thighs. “How his heart stops every time he sees you.” Marinette could feel his strong heartbeat with her back, practically lying on his chest at this point. “How his body shakes when a sleeve of your blouse accidentally touches his skin when you’re just passing by.”
‘But Felix is such a rude person,’ Marinette thought, trying to break through his hypnoses, ‘How can he describe feelings so beautifully? It sounds almost as if he himself experienced them.’
But this wasn’t possible, because he was tough and manipulative!
And those were just her body reactions, she was convincing herself. She couldn’t let his game touch her for real.
If he felt anything like this, anything at all, he would talk to her at school. He would ask her to walk together, or get coffee, or...
But Felix would only follow her here. To her hiding spot. So she could only talk to him here. Wasn’t she good enough for him to just ask her out?!
Wait. When did she decided she wanted him to ask her out?!
“You want him to tell you, how the day he saw you for the first time, your face was burned on his heart forever, and he couldn’t see anybody else since then.” Felix whispered, burying his nose in her hair. “How the smell of your hair makes his whole body melt.” Felix moved his hands up to her stomach and wrapped her arms around her. “How every time you enter the class his breath catches in his throat.”
Marinette couldn’t breathe, but not because Felix was squeezing her. In fact, his body felt soft and painfully pleasant on hers. So pleasant she forgot that he started to say it all as a game. She forgot she was supposed to have some reasons for not trusting him. She forgot they were standing in a bushes, hiding from a photoshoot crew.
Marinette couldn’t breathe, because the words he was saying couldn’t be a part of any game. And the feelings they were awakening inside her couldn’t be ignored or denied.
“How you come to his dreams, and he doesn’t want to wake up, just to stay with you a little longer.” Felix whispered again. “That he loves you so much — it hurts to breathe away from you.” His words were coming out a little faster, as if they weren’t sure how much longer the door for them would stay open. “That he would give his soul to the devil, just to hold you in his arms for a moment. That he had lost himself to you so much, he doesn’t care if you’d call him with another name, as long as your lips would touch his and he would be able to drown in your kiss.”
Marinette’s body stiffened.
She turned around sharply, still wrapped in his arms, but Felix’s hands let her go easily, like there wasn’t any strength left in them.
Her eyes were wide open, her breath was uneven, her lips were shaking.
The face she met was everything Felix just described and more. His eyes were clouded with desire and pain. Tears were rolling down his face, but he seemed not to feel them. He was looking at her with a lost gaze.
Marinette was looking at the boy, who just pronounced the deepest and most soulful love confession she had ever heard, or read, or dreamed about. The boy she considered rude and tough, grumpy and pushy. The boy, whose eyes were losing tears, because he thought she was imagining someone else in his place.
Marinette lifted her hand to wipe a tear from his face, but Felix recoiled from her, as if her movement brought him back to his consciousness. His lips parted, his eyes widened a little, but there wasn’t a surprise on his face.
Felix was looking at Marinette like she was something he wanted and feared with the same strength at the same time. She could recognize this emotion only because she realized at that exact moment, that she wanted him as well, and she was scared of what she felt just as much.
But after what she’d just heard, Marinette felt like she could allow herself — even for a moment — to want him more then her fears allowed her before...
“Felix,” She called. “I didn’t know that you...”
“There is nothing to know.” He interrupted her in a cold voice, his usual stony face returning. “Go on, laugh at me, — a monster with feelings.” His words sounded harsh and heavy. “Nothing in comparison to an angel-boy that you’ve chosen.” He looked away. “I wish you a perfect life with your perfect boy.”
Then he turned and left before Marinette could find her words to respond.
Honestly on the sentiAdrien theory, I hope it's not true (and its probs not but-) the reason being because I know it's something the show and the writers may not be able to handle well as theyve shown with other things.
And the disappointment that will ripple throughout the fandom if/when they eventually ruin it is something I'm not looking forward to for either side of the fandom when it comes to said theory

Ladrien gets too much hate. They're teenagers, off course things like celebrity crushes happen, but everytime Ladrien is brought up, people start going so mad (in my experience).
