The entire MK x Nihal Arthanayake interview is gut-punching, but what especially struck me is how Miles acts in the bits about "Ransom" and "Heal", they seem to be special and particularly emotional songs for him.
As soon as Nihal drops the names of the songs, Miles seems to have a hard time meeting his eyes, bites his lips, often chuckles lightly and looks down, speaks very softly and seems much more cautious with his words, he even fiddles a lot all of a sudden with is very untypical for him and seems to evade the question a bit.
These are gonna be such heartbreakers, along with "Scared of love." I mean the title is already deeply sad, then it's gonna be an acoustic recording and Miles describes it as "raw, honest, real", which is obviously very common for his songs but I feel like it might go in the direction of The Wrong Side of Life. He also said it's "the icing on the cake," the "end of [his] chapter for this record," and end the "journey you go on" during the album ❤️🩹
