“whoa, whoa, whoa. what’s with the attitude?” not that harry could actually blame mj for reacting the way that she did, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t caught off-guard. maybe this whole situation was finally getting to mj? “hey, you okay?” harry peered at her, concerned that maybe she wasn’t as okay as he initially thought. “it’s just me, mj.”

stephen was admittedly taken aback by mj’s words as he turned to look at her with surprise. in truth, she was correct - she had told him so, and if he had listened instead of stubbornly refusing to - he would have been able to possibly see this happening and to stop it. instead, he chose to dismiss the very fact that someone could have done something like this. “well, it doesn’t mean you’re right about everything, you know.” he pointed out, a small smile at his lips.

“If I live long enough to go to bed, I’m going to have nightmares about this place.” [ @mjwxtsons​ ]

“I’m not convinced this isn’t a nightmare,” Gwen says. “Quick, pinch me.” She flips to the ground and stops dead, staring wide-eyed at the too-familiar redheaded girl. She knows that face. She knows it can’t be her MJ (not that she ever was hers; she was too scary to be anyone’s), right? But the woman sure as hell looks like her. 

Snap out of it, Stacy. She doesn’t have time for this. She can have an existential crisis about the multiverse when they aren’t facing a life-threatening situation. She primes her web shooters, picks herself upright, blinks. “But you’re going to live long enough to go to bed, I promise.”
