"So the glasses are up here if you want something," he explains walking around the kitchen, "and you can help yourself to anything, you know that..."

"Chris, I have hung out here before," you giggle slightly.

"Well, yeah, I know that," he blushes, "I just want you to feel comfortable tonight."

"As long as you're here, I'm comfortable."

"Okay," he smiles, "so, movie?"

You'd settled on watching Bride Wars, a classic to you but a newbie for him. Sometime throughout the movie, Chris had slumped over on top of you and fell asleep; at the time, you didn't mind, but now that the movie's over and you’re halfway through another, you really need to pee.

You brushed the hair off his forehead, gently rousing him from his deep sleep.

"Mmm," he grunted, snuggling further into your chest.

"Chris," you whispered, "I have to go to the bathroom."

"Okay, down the hall to the left," he answered slowly, his arms squeezing your figure tighter.

"I know where it is," you giggled, "but you have to get up so I can go."

He peeled his eyes open, finally waking enough to process what was going on. He sat up and looked at you fully, "I fell asleep," he whispered, glancing at the TV then back at you.

"You did," you smiled lightly, moving to get off the couch.

"I'm so sorry," he groaned, "I've been so busy and so tired and you were so comfortable and the fire is going and it's so nice in here. I didn't mean to really, and god I missed the end of the movie, I'm so sorry."

"Chris, it's fine," you chuckled, placing a hand on his bicep, "I get it, I'm not mad."

"But I invited you over here and I can tell you dressed up for the occasion and I can only imagine what's underneath that," he groaned, rubbing a hand on your thigh gently, "and I really didn't want to fall asleep, I promise."

"I know," you smiled, placing a hand on top of his now, the other stroking down the inside of his bicep, "I really don't mind, you make a good blanket," you joked, trying to put him at ease.

"But I don't think a blanket is what you wanted tonight," he whispered.

"A blanket is fine," you smiled, giving his hand a squeeze.

"But what about everything else?"

"I had no expectations," you assured, "but, if the offers on the table... I've got no plans tomorrow," you giggle.

"No plans, eh?" he chuckles, leaning in to plant a kiss on your cheek, "then I'm offering."

His hands slide around your figure, pulling you in closer to him on the sofa. He's quick to squeeze at your bum and his lips get more energy, moving down the side of your jaw.
