I ran out of the yellow embroidery floss I was using on the last row of the last wing, so now I'm going to try using paint to color match it to the rest. Worse comes to worst I'll just have to cut off the wings and remake them.

I got this pattern book about a month ago and have held off making anything from it bc I don't have the types of yarn or hook sizes required. Then the other day I realized, they're little bugs, not clothes if I use something different it'll just make them in a different size. So I used some embroidery floss I already had and a 2mm crochet hook instead of the mohair and 1.25mm hook in the pattern. The pattern said the finished bee would be 1 5/8 in long and mines 2, so like, it's not even that much bigger. I am planning on making it with mohair and the smaller hook eventually bc I love how fuzzy the bees in the pictures are.
