       “  hmm, i wonder ? ” it definitely was, but what exactly would be the fun in coming out and outright admitting it ? this whole stand thing is becoming normal for her, but what will never get old is the look on someone’s face when they see something their brain can’t readily explain — it’s almost like she can see the hoops their minds are going through just to try to find some sort of explanation for it that doesn’t totally crash the way they view the world. it seems like he has things a little more figured out than anyone else she’d usually come across, and that in itself could end up being a whole lot more fun if she plays her cards right.

golden eyes as sharp as feline’s snap towards him .  was that surprise that flickered across her expression ⁇  a mix of curiosity and confusion , lashes fluttering abruptly as if the sun’s gleam had irritated her gaze . she’d been trying to get more then two words out of him all day without resorting to any wicked schemes , and now he was saying things like this all of a sudden ⁇  how ... outrageously absurd ‼  it wasn’t fun when he was the one taking her by surprise .  even if she had been the one to caress his cheek with her gloved hand , a way of forcing his attention back on her within a moments notice ———— but when he’d taken her hand within his , and commented on it’s warmth , she was left startled . the fabric from her gloves were soft and thin , allowing her body warmth to slip passed the light cloth , but even then , she wasn’t the type of woman many addressed as warm .

      The evening enjoyed in silence. Despite lack of shared words between the two, it was mere presence of another alike, that soothed Kars’ mind. The two remnants of an ancient world long gone. Only they could understand one another - such bond required no spoken words. Neither of them was alone in this changed World.

Breaking the silence by a request to speak by Santana, Kars didn’t hesitate to place down the glass brought up near his lips before nodding. Granting Santana his entire attention, honoring the moment to speak his mind.
