First off, thanks for sending in the ask, I'm always excited for an opportunity to ramble about my headcanons!! 😊🫶 Secondly, Irumiki is a great choice and it hasn't been used by any other Danganronpa ship yet!! <3

As for my headcanons, I'm going to just put whichever ones have been on my mind here and then might post more eventually, but here's what I got so far:

Fluffy/Cute Headcanons:

- At first, Miu would likely start to bully Mikan in an admittedly lesser but certainly similar way to Hiyoko. However, Miu wouldn't be able to keep up the rough persona that long, especially after seeing Mikan get bullied repeatedly and her never significantly pushing back against it. Eventually, Miu would start feeling guilty and decide to help Mikan in her own way by pushing the girl to toughen up so that she wouldn't be bullied so badly. This would fall apart pretty quickly, however, as no matter what she's faced with Mikan would just grin and bear it, causing Miu to become even more worried about her. Eventually, Mikan would realize that Miu has been doing this to try to help her but, rather than changing to be more assertive, she'd just start getting a crush on Miu and start following the other girl around. Miu would complain about it endlessly until Mikan begins to give her genuine compliments on her work, which quickly shuts the inventor up.

- As the two spend more time with each other, and especially after they start dating, Miu's personality will start to have an unintentional impact on Mikan, with her sometimes slipping up and being more direct when she feels comfortable around someone. Causing her to even push back on Hiyoko's bullying on occasion. 

- I feel like their ship can be loosely represented by the "Excuse Me, He Asked for No Pickles" meme.

- Mikan's never really gotten a chance to get dressed up, put on makeup, or do more feminine hobbies with other girls since she always tends to be ostracized so badly in her classes. After hearing this, Miu would insist that they do all the things that Mikan didn't get to do together, like sleepovers, makeovers, going shopping together, spa days, getting their nails done, and more. Even roping in some of the other girls in class that she knows would be nice to Mikan to help them, like Kaede or Tenko.

- This exploration would help Mikan find a way to be feminine, pretty, and sexual on her own terms. Eventually encouraging her to cut her hair shorter so that she can grow it out evenly again the way that she wants it.

- When Miu gets invested in her work, she can sometimes forget to eat, sleep, or do anything else for hours at a time. After she befriends Mikan, the nurse will enjoy the herculean task of forcing Miu to take care of herself during these periods, while also ensuring that she doesn't mess up Miu's workflow or get in the way of her deadlines.

SA-correlated Headcanons (Please do NOT read if the mention of SA could be detrimental for you; Stay safe!! <3):

- Miu and Mikan are both very clearly portrayed as the most "freaky" girls in their respective killing games, however, I believe they have wildly different reasons as to why they act this way; Miu has always been praised for her high intelligence, but tends to be devalued or avoided by others due to her big personality and seemingly massive ego. Miu tries to overcompensate this by showing that she has more than enough value through her overly sexual nature. While Mikan has been severely bullied and assaulted in the past and tends to simply expect having to provide sexual favors for others. Mikan also, as she does with nursing, enjoys embracing or coping by means of her sexuality to an extent as it allows her to feel a semblance of control over her oppressors in knowing that they "need" her for that.

- I doubt that Miu has had many (if any) actual sexual experiences and has gained all her knowledge about the subject through the internet or through talking to acquaintances. In contrast, I believe that Mikan has likely had several sexual experiences, but all of which being, at best, solely for the other person's gratification, and at worst, completely nonconsensual and unwanted advances forced onto her. 

- After the two start dating and become more secure in their relationship, Mikan will stop offering sexual favors to Miu as she would realize that she doesn't need to do so in order for Miu to not leave her. Instead, she would start to initiate intimacy when *she* herself wants it.
