Happy Saturday!!! ✨ I'm so happy it's the weekend and thrilled that I have no plans... I don't know when that shift in my life occurred - there was a time when I would have been bereft at having nothing planned on a Saturday but now! I'm gutted if I have to get changed out of my pyjamas!! 🙈 #boookstagramchallenge16 - Witches in Literature... back in the day I watched The Craft and became obsessed with everything witchy! My friends and I started a coven (naturally) and we would try and do magic... we eventually freaked ourselves out and that was that! ✨ However I have always remained fascinated by witches... the history, the legends and the magic! 🎃 Mist Over Pendle is based on the events relating to the Lancashire Witch Trials... my mums family is from that area of the country and so that always made me feel more connected with the story! It's one of the few books I will reread often! ✨ I had to buy myself a new copy recently as my old one fell apart and I lost some of the pages! 😭 I don't know how I feel about this photo...
