Day 30: Chibi
I was hoping to draw a picture of Pisces Realta twins Cove (He/Him) and Rain (She/Her) in Chibi style today, but never got the chance to start it.
What I specifically had in mind was for both twins to be hanging out in an underwater grotto, with Rain feeding garden eels poking out of the ground and Cove drawing a whale swimming overhead in his sketchbook.
I probably could have also tried to figure out how to include the ASL spellings of their names (since Rain is deaf), which could be a motivator for me to be better about learning sign language in the future (as well as how to draw hand gestures in general).
If this drawing project from the MerMay prompts had been successful, I would have also attempted to use today’s Misadventure May prompt as an excuse to make up one of the projects that I had failed to do on their actual day.
Oh, well… better luck next year, I guess?
