Needless to say this is been one of the most trying periods I’ve endured in quite some time. @jolynelowery and I have spent nearly 12 hours every day checking every online resource, visiting shelters from Long Beach to Pasadena, flyering neighborhood after neighborhood and chasing down the few seeming leads we’ve received. We’ve received a huge amount of support from some beautiful souls and also had to deal with several prank calls from some purely evil fucks playing with our emotions. It’s been more than a roller coaster, it’s been the whole damn amusement park. Test upon test, looking for our girl has been our sole focus and still it feels like we’re no closer than when we realized she was gone last Sunday eve. 😞 . I know deep within that there’s a divine design to all things but it’s been hard AF to keep that perspective on Sadie’s disappearance. The feelings of loss, frustration and helplessness have definitely clouded the underlying lesson. Still, I do acknowledge that it’s forced me, forced US, to SHOW UP in all ways. Faith, patience, diligence and unwavering support have become our mantras and we’ve both received a hard but beautiful view of what our partnership is capable of in crisis. It’s a no-questions-asked-handle-this-shit state of being. I wish it were under different circumstances, but you play the cards your dealt as best you can. We’re still at the table, still all in. ♠️♥️♣️♦️ . We appreciate all the love, support and aid we’ve received. Know that it all helps keep us fueled and in the fight. We’re keeping our thoughts positive and our prayers strong. We’re not giving up hope, just preparing for the next chapter of this journey and readying for whatever that may entail.
