"That may be true," Kiley leaned forward and brushed a stray lock of his hair back. "But, they'll have eyes of their own." She giggled at the eye-roll she received. A comfortable silence ensued, Benedict fidgeting with his blazer's lapels, Kiley just watching him. She loved to just... watch him. He was enthralling and she couldn't ever get tired of looking at that man. Ever. After a moment more she broke the silence. "What are you auditioning for again?"

Straightening his tie for what seemed to be the 43rd time, Benedict smiled. "Hurin in the new Tolkien film-in-the-works, 'Children of Hurin'."

"Ah, right. Peter the head of this one too?" She had met Peter Jackson, at the end-of-taping party for the last 'Hobbit' movie. He was a sweet man, though he always seemed distracted by one thing or another. A lot on his mind, she supposed.

"Mhm," he confirmed distractedly. His (at the moment) light blue eyes were back on his reflection, checking every angle of his face.

"Dear?" Benedict blinked and turned his attention back to Kiley. She slid her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. "I wish you the best of luck." She felt his chest rumble as he chuckled. His arms enveloped her, warm and strong. The light scent of his cologne comforted her as he held her. She heard his heart rate slowing as his nerves calmed. "I love you."

Humming happily, a smile on his now-serene face, Benedict closed his eyes. "I love you too, my darling." He kissed the top of her head and then let go. Grabbing his mobile and the keys to his car, he gave her one last smile before opening the front door and hurrying out. "I'll be home in a few hours!" he shouted from the walk as Kiley walked onto the stoop, watching him go. "I'll shoot you a text?"
