i haven't posted a selfie here for a few years so i thought why not! im on mullet-ing this time. its my first time having my natural color in decades. i love having silver/pastel pink but my health hasn't allowed me to keep that hobby up.

So… skwaa (sachiin) surprised me with a special video compilation of sweet birthday greetings from my beloved friends and I was extremely touched. Not to mention theanomalousfreak (mayu) put together a sweet (and adorably cheesy) slideshow with even more lovely greetings– AND THEN I GOT A PHYSICAL ENVELOPE IN THE MAIL FROM SACH WITH MORE LETTERS AND ART FROM FRIENDS WTH ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO DROWN ME WITH MY OWN TEARS– so yeah. I wanted to give everyone my thanks in this long post. (Sorry this reply is kind of late!)

I honestly wasn’t expecting anything like that, so it really took me by surprise. I literally laughed and cried reading through the messages. You guys probably already got the hint I’ve been feeling under the weather these past few weeks from my twitter statuses. (What a downer ew) In fact, the day before my birthday was pretty rough for me too. I won’t go in to too much details, but let’s just say I tend to cut myself down a lot, especially when I’m stressed. So when I read through all your lovely words, it was a reminder that I’m actually not alone and I have amazing friends who will always be there for me. I know I go missing from time to time (everyone kind of does, we’re busy), but I thought it’d be important to tell you guys I NEVER FEEL NEGLECTED BY ANY OF YOU, OK? I might make myself feel lonely sometimes, but I know very well you guys put the effort in making sure I’m in the loop. And when I need someone to talk to, I know you guys will always lend an ear to me. So thank you, you guys are the best and I don’t really know what I did to deserve such an incredible bunch of friends.

But anywho, after watching the video, I was really flustered and spouting to sachii things like “THIS IS TOO MUCH I’M NOT WORTHY HOW AM I GONNA FACE THEM THIS IS TOO SWEET IM CRY” and then MAYU had to hit me with even more feels and I be like “WHAT THERE’S MORE? WHY THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS BEING SO NICE TO ME STAHP” and that’s when I died. So yeah. Here we go.
