Eh I wasn't by myself, since my chapter adviser was there... But as far as actives go I was. It wasn't so much nervousness, i think it was more I don't like dealing with drama so I tend to hang out with those older than me... So I spent more time with the Wise ones asking questions LOL Gotta love the Alumnae in our sorority.
Well at least you weren't alone! And talking to the older crowd seems like it was a good use of your time :) Oh I know about some of the alums, the ones that just graduated from my college were a riot!
It was pretty amazing. I just wish some of the girls would have wanted to mingle more. They all seemed pretty intent on ignoring me sadly even when i tried to strike up conversations.
That's a bummer, I take it you went by yourself? Maybe it's something I'll get to do in the next year or two. The last conference think I went to was a women in physics one and that was an awesome time. I was the only one who went from my school so I was really nervous, especially about traveling by myself, but I met a lot of cool people.
