All the Lords had gone home for the winter, so you were alone with AemondâŠ
And that gave you goosebumps, he clearly did not respect you enough to leave if you told him to, and he obviously didnât respect Cregan either.
And he was a temperamental man with the most powerful dragon in the world.
So you tried to show yourself pliant, but also serious
But it was hard
The lunch was quickly turning uncomfortable, for example, he didnât even dare to look at Sara, like she was beneath him, not even paying attention if she said something to contribute to the conversation, Cregan noticed and he became angrier by the minute.
Cregan had never seen Rhaenys before, but she imposed respect, he could tell, but Aemond demanded it, and sometimes respect was not given just because.Â
Thelma came in with a tray with stew, and your eyes shined bright because it became your favorite dish, and she knew it
âMy favoriteâ, you said with a wide smile
âFor you darlingâ, she said with a wink, she squeezed your shoulder with a smile for you, Cregan thanked her for the food and she left.
âApparently, you are not the only one with favoritesâ, said Cregan, looking at you with a sneaky smile and you blushed
âI canât never make her cook my favorite!â, whined Sara
âInteresting company you keep here in Winterfellâ, Aemond muttered, interrupting you all, âbastards, cooksâ, he said looking right at you, you heard Sara drop the spoon on her plate, looking at everyone but you and Aemond
âWhat is wrong with that?â, you asked then, angry
âYou are not wearing the dress I got you, nor the jewelryâ, he said, changing the subject, he tried one spoonful of the stew, he had a disgusted frown on his face, and then he left it to the side, good, he could starve for all you care
âThe fabrics are nice but they are uncomfortable for this weatherâ, you pointed out, even though you wouldnât wear them even if it was summerÂ
âIf you donât want to wear them because you fear Stark might feel poorly because he canât give you things like thatâ, he whispered, but you all heard him clearly, âIâm sure he will understandâ
If looks could kill, Aemond would be dead⊠killed by Cregan
âMy wife can wear anything she pleasesâ, he said through gritted teeth, âif she wants dresses like that I will have them made for herâ
âI donâtâ, you assured him, and he gave you a sweet smile before he turned to Aemond again
âI bet you canâ, mocked Aemond
You started to feel suffocated and you saw the animosity between them, and you couldnât believe it, you didnât want Aemond here, he was clearly not respecting your marriage, he still wanted⊠you didnât even know what he wanted at this point
Your eyes met Saraâs and she gave you a reassuring smile, then you catched Creganâs gaze on you, he seemed to be analyzing you, figuring out if fancy dresses and jewelry whose price could feed all the people in the north was truly what you wanted.Â
It was not, and you wanted him to know that
You wanted to dress in âragsâ, and be comfortable like you had been recently
âThey say your swordsmanship is legendaryâ, Aemond said, looking at Cregan in front of him
âI donât know about thatâ
âWell, to have beaten your own uncle and cousins for control of the North it must have beenâ, you looked in panic at Cregan and at Sara, who looked back at you wide-eyed
You knew the story, a bit of it, When Creganâs father died he was very young, his uncle stepped in for him, as Lord Regent, but he liked the power, Cregan had to fight to regain control of the North, he wanted to send his uncle to the Wall, which he refused, so he had to have him executed, and is cousins who aid him in taking Winterfell.
He had another uncle left, who presided over your wedding, and another set of cousins that you met in the celebration, but still⊠if it wasnât for the former betrayal and the trial, Cregan could have easily become a âKinslayerâ, the darkest, more awful title you could possess
âNot as good as yours, Iâve been toldâ, he said calmly, keeping his composure, âyou are the best in Kingâs Landingâ, he said, âor at least that is what Iâve heardâ
âMaybe we should put it to a testâ, he said
âThat would not please meâ, you said hastily, gaining the attention of both men, âat allâ, you donât know where you find the courage to say that, but you did
âDonât worry, wife, Iâm sure Prince Aemond is an honorable sparring partnerâ, Cregan said, squinting his eyes
âIâm notâ, Sara whispered, but we could hear her. Aemond chuckled darkly, looking at Sara just like he looked at Jacaerys when he gave that horrid toast at that dinner two years ago. And when he was opening his mouth, Cregan intervened
âLetâs leave the ladiesâ, he suggested, âwe should speak, men to men, in my studyâ, and Aemond reluctantly agreedÂ
Cregan called in Aemond to the room he used for private audiences, where he was the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North.
âEven though you claimed your visit is for the purpose of ensuring the wellbeing of the princess I must think that is a hidden reasonâ, he started, Aemond just walked around the room seeing the decor, his hand behind his back, his posture rigid but at the same time relaxed, âhave you send word to Kingâs Landing yet?â
âI haveâ, he said, as he turned to the wolf, amused, âThe wedding happened rather quicklyâ, he observed, pursing his lips
âIt was to the liking of the princessâ, he said warily
âI betâ, he continued, âAn honorable men would have waited for a family member, or a royal escortâ
âHer aunt Rhaenys came to give her awayâ, he said simply, âitâs all she needed, as well as Iâ
âDid you even receive a letter from the council with said proposal?â, he asked then, and he was sure with this he was going to have him on the palm of his hand
âThe princess delivered the proposal herself, of her uncle King Viserysâ, Cregan told him, âwe accepted said proposal within the day, sending word to Kingâs Landingâ
âFunny, in the capital they were all so surprisedâ, he said, and Cregan frowned
âMeaning?â, he asked with greeted teeth
âSee, they send no said proposal, a letter arrived randomly one day after the disappearance of the princess stating that she was betrothed to the wolf of the Northâ, he said calmly
âAre you implying that the princess lied?â, said Cregan, âthat she made up said proposal?â
âIâm not implying she liedâ, he said tersely, âshe was not yours to wed, Starkâ, he said finally, âshe is mineâ, Cregan then stood straight, looking at the man⊠boy⊠almost, right in front of him.
Aemond Targaryen, the rider of the oldest and biggest dragon in the world had come for his bride
What was he going to do about it?
âShe would differâ, he said, âshe married me of her own will, I didnât force her tooâ, he said, âyou said you were going to take her home, if I was the one to force her hand in marriage wouldnât she have accepted this proposal?â. He tried angrily of what Aemond was implying
There was a shred of doubt in Creganâs mind, but he was sure of one thing, you wanted to marry him, you did not want to get back to Kingâs landingÂ
âMmm sureâ, he said, Cregan growled loudly
âI do not know what you wrote to the council and the King, but Iâm sure you will receive word that this union was sanctioned by them, and proposed by the King, perhaps you should fly yourself south and ask them in personâ, he said
âI will not leave her hereâ, he said with a sly smile
âShe does not want to return to Kingâs Landingâ, he said firmly
âWhy don't we let her decide?â, said Aemond then, Cregan didnât like the idea, not at all, but he agreed, he could not make him leave, besides, he was a Prince of the crown, angering him could prove disastrous to everyone.Â
So he had to bite his tongue, and allow this green rattlesnake stay under his own roof
And that would prove to be a mistake
After that doubt planted on Creganâs mind, he couldnât shake it. He had never received a formal proposal from the council, but he never received something denying it, he needed to speak to you, he needed you to tell him the truth.Â
But he was going to confront you later, after he saw you interact with Aemond, and see for himself if you wanted to leave his side or not.Â
But firstâŠ
âThis is a mistakeâ, you said bitterly, as you looked down from the battlements the courtyard, where in each corner, Cregan and Aemond were preparing for a âfriendly sparâ, that you knew it was going to end poorly
âI agreeâ, said Sara by your side
âIs he good? Cregan?â, you asked
âHe isâ
âAemond is good tooâ, you said bitterly, your eyes never leaving Creganâs form, âtrained by Criston Cole?â
âThe white cloak?â, she asked, and you only nodded, âshit, the man is legendaryâ, she mutteredÂ
And before youâd like, after the maester at arms of Winterfell gave them each a blunt sword to prevent accidents, which you were certain Aemond would like to inflict with a purpose.Â
And they go at each other like two predators fighting for dominance
Aemond was good, but Cregan was great, soon the clash of swords was heard all over the courtyard, making everyone there stop whatever they were doing and pay attention to both contenders.
You saw them exchanging words, but you couldnât hear them
âAfter iâm done here, I will grab her and take her back to Kingâs Landing where she belongsâ, threatened Aemond
âYou said it, only if you are done hereâ, he growled, âand only if she want it to be soâ, he grunted between long swings of his sword
To be fair, they both had different styles, Aemond was quick on his feet and he almost seemed like he was dancing with fluent movements, but Cregan, oh Cregan, something moved with need inside of you, his movements were more rough, intense, but you could tell behind them there was this mortal accuracy and strength. He did not dance around, but he was just as quick.
It soon turned intense, each frustrated with the other as none could land a blow, they were at it for long minutes until they broke apart, and split to take a second to breath. As they had both broken a sweat
You had eyes only for your husband as he wiped the sweat off his forehead with the sleeve of his vest, and then, he looked up at you and found you smiling down at him. And a smile of his own creeped his way into his face.
Aemond noticed and he jumped at his back, Cregas was not ready and you had to cover your mouth so your whimper wouldnât distract him, he jumped just as Aemond was going to strike him. He barely dodge him
âAre you a backstabber, Prince Aemond?â, asked Cregan, regaining his composure and taking a defensive stance to face the one-eye prince
âNever turn your back to the enemyâ, he said simply, coming at him again, and they both starting fighting, this time you could tell it was more violent, they were no interested in each other's skill, but now only in winning, in defeating the other, when he had an opening Aemond used his legs and kicked Cregan and he stumbled backwards, but managed to refuse the series of striked Aemond wanted to land on him.
And then Cregan was the one that landed a kick to Aemondâs legs, he was the one to stumble back and then Cregan struck the sword off of his hand.
And that was it
Cregan had won but it didnât felt like it, because even if he deserved it, it was not a good idea to humiliate a dragon
Aemond stay in Winterfell only got worse and more tense
Thanks to Sara, you had become an expert in dodging Aemond in your own home, but this ugly feeling of being hiding and evading brought you right back to your days in Kingâs Landing, Aemond was defiling your new home, your sanctuary
Sara averted him like the plague, she hated him, and she had reasons to, Aemond had acted in a despicable way towards her, and you hate him too, and Sara even sometimes sleep with you so Aemond didnât find you alone, it was unsavory
Cregan, sadly, had also backed away, you couldnât find a moment alone to share together, he seemed to be analyzing you, your reactions, your interactions with Aemond, and you did not like it. Before Aemond arrived you were getting closer, that time you were certain he was going to kiss you, and that wretched prince had ruined itÂ
But as Sara was needed elsewhere for more Winter preparations, you found yourself alone, and cornered again by Aemond, this time in the Godâs wood. HIs patience was growing thin, because you were playing your old games again, and he was tired of them
âYou had proven yourselfâ, he said, reaching at you while you were talking a walk
âExcuse me?â, you asked
âYou proved yourself, that you could live here, in this grotesque land, alone, wearing simple dresses and forgetting all about your family and customsâ
âThat is not why I did thisâ
âYes, you are your own person, now, itâs time to come homeâ, he said, grabbing your arm
âAemondâ, you called, ârelease meâ
âWe will marry under the light of the sevenâ, he said
âIâm already marriedâ, you fought, trying to get out of his grasp
âI told you, you are mineâ, he growled
âIâm not!â, you fought
âYou know there is an old tradition, of course Queen Alyssane planned to abolish it but⊠in the North the abolition never stickedâ, he purred against your ear making the hairs in the back of your neck stand up, goosebumps in your arms
âWhat tradition?â, you asked, as he was moving towards you you moved backwards
âThe first nightâ, he said, âit dictates that the Lord of that land, the highest ranking person in the room, or the King himself, could demand the first night of the maiden in her wedding nightâ, you whimpered in fear
âMy wedding night passed alreadyâ, you said
âWell, Iâd like to claim the first night nowâ, he said, âas it is my right, and you are still a maiden, since he doesnât even sleep in the same roomâ
âYou are no Lord, you are no King!â, you fought, your back hitting the wall of the side of the castle
âBut Iâm a princeâ, he said simply
âYou canât just grab me like thisâ, you criedÂ
âWifeâ, you both froze when you looked right and you found Cregan standing there, âa word?â, he asked quickly, and Aemond released you. You ran by Creganâs side and back into the castle
âI donât know what kind of liberties you took with her, she hadn't spoken to me about it, and I respect that, but nowâ, Cregan took a step towards Aemond, âshe is my wife, mine, the lady of winterfell, the wardaness of the Northâ
âMmm is she?â, mocked Aemond cautiously
âIf you touch her again against her will we are going to have a problemâ, Aemond took a step towards him, both looking at each other
âMmm, I canât wait to see said troublesâ, he grumbledÂ
âI think you overstayed your welcome, prince Aemondâ, he said firmly, âI donât care for an answer from the council, she is my wife until the day she wants toâ, Aemond looked at him, and then, he walked away. And now, he needed to speak to you
He followed you back to his chambers, the ones you were sleeping in since you got here, the chambers of the Lord of Winterfell.
âI need to speak to youâ, he said firmly, and you looked up at him wide eyed
âYes, husband?â, you asked
âI need you to tell me truthâ, he said firmly, but gently, âabout Kingâs Viserys offer to marry each other, and please donât lieâ
âI didnâtâ, you whispered, âI never had, not reallyâŠâ
âYou are not being truthful to meâ, he accused, his words harsh, but his eyes kind
âI was I promise IâŠâ, you stumbled upon your own words, you were scared he was going to kick you out, send you back to the south
âTell me the truth!â He demanded, you whimpered, but you took a long breath, it was time to come cleanÂ
âYour name, was being heavily thrown around, you were one of two possibilities they were discussing for my handâ, you whimpered hugging yourself, not daring to look at him
âWho was the other?âÂ
âHIm, Aemond Targaryenâ, you said
âWhat happened?â, he said, more relieved
âThey were going to send a letter, I know because I was in the meeting, hidden, but I was hearing it allâ, he looked at you suspiciously, âif you declined said offer, they were going to marry me to Aemond, I wanted to make sure you said yes that is why I made the journey myselfâ, you said clearly, and truthfully
âYou chose me? over him?â, he asked, more relievedÂ
âI did, I made the choice by my own handâ, you admitted, âYou have always been so kind to me, so good, and decent, and he⊠Aemond heâŠâ, you whimpered, fighting the burning in your nose and eyes that told you that tears would follow. And Cregan saw how upset you became, âI didnât want to marry himâŠâ
âWhat did he do to you?â He asked gently, but with seriousnessÂ
âHe was mean, and cruel, and as we were growing up he started to have behaviors towards me that truly scared meâŠ.â, you confessed, Cregan took one step towards you, slowly, like he was coming close to a scared deer. You looked at him and took a step towards him, wanting to feel his warmth
âWhat did he do to you?â, he asked again, this time, dead serious
âOnce he grabbed me, made me kiss him, he grabbed my bottom really roughly, but my Kingsguard intervened, he said he wanted me in his room, or he was going to come to me, I was sixteen at the timeâ, you revealed. And he froze
He always knew there was something dark that happened to you, that prevented you from wanting to go back to Kingâs landing, but he never thought it was going to be something like this.
âWhat didnât you tell the truth from the beginning?â He asked gently
âYou were my only chance of a normal and happy lifeâ, you confessed amongst your tears, âI didnât want you to see me as this broken, used thingâŠâ, you whined, finally a tear escaping your eye. You felt sorrow enveloping you like a mantle, but as soon as it came, it vanished, trampled by a warmth sensation of Cregan's arms around you, hugging you tightly, his hand in the back of your head inviting you to take cover in his warm chest. And you did, of course you did
This is why you were so willing to leave everything behind, so freely and hastily, all of it, because of a man that was here, under his roof.
His roof, your roof, your home. Winterfell was your home now and he has let Aemond Targaryen defile it, as he did you.
âI could never see you as anything but a beautiful princess with a heart of gold, you are not used, you are not broken, you are not a thingâ, he said seriously, he took your face in his hands and looked down at you, âyou understand me?â, he asked gently, âyou are a person, you are not used, you are not brokenâ, and you nodded
âIâm a personâ, you said, and he smiled, âplease donât let him take meâ, you begged
âNeverâ, he said firmly, âyou are wedded to me, my beautiful wife, you are not going anywhere unwillinglyâ, he assured you, and you smiled widely at him. You gazed upon each other for long minutes, it was so nice, his eyes so soft and gentle, his thumb caressing your cheek
âCregan?â, you called
âMmm?â
âCan you kiss me?â, you asked, and he smiled gently before leaning in and kissing you softly.Â
âI can do more than just thatâ, he promised you against your lips. You just moaned quietly as you wanted to feel more of him, âI havenât been treating you like my wife, and for that, I'm sorryâ, he apologized sincerely.
âI want to be your wifeâ, you said, âfullyâ
âDo you, now? My good girlâ, you whined needily when you heard him say that, his pupils so enlarged his eyes looked black, one of his hands traveled to your hips as he glued you to him, while one of his hands remained in your cheek, while his thumb that was caressing your skin, traveled to your mouth and caressed your bottom lip
âMmmâ, you moan softly, his finger entered gently in your mouth and you dared to suck his digit just a little bit, he growled, loudly, in need, in want for you.
And he moaned your name, needily
âCreganâ, you called back
âAre you sure?â, he asked
âYes please, I need youâ, you begged, and that is all it took for his quick fingers to remove your beautiful cloak that you had barely parted from since he gave it to you, it landed on the floor quietly. And he admired your light blue dress made in the purest northerner style
âYou look so beautiful like this, dressed like a northernerâÂ
âReally?â
âIt suits youâ, he growled and he attacked you again, catching your lips on his hungrily, you could barely catch up, his hungry kisses made your head spin, but you loved it, you found yourself yearning for themÂ
HIs hand left you for a second to take out his own cape without separating himself from you, then, he guided you to the bed, where he made you sit in the edge of it, he then leaned on the floor, his eyes never stopped gazing upon yours and he kneeled, he grabbed your boot and unlaced it and removed it gently from your foot, and then he did the same with the other
âCanât wait to devour your pussy, but it will have to be for another timeâ, he said, and you wondered where Cregan the gentleman was but glad he was gone for the evening. You only could moan as he stood back, now looking down at you
Your eyes looked at him in wonder and need, and he leaned down and kissed you. He pushed you back gently, and he hovered over you, now crawling in the bed but never crushing you
At some point he got rid of his own boots since you heard them falling to the wooden floor. He looked down at you
âLet me help you with that dress dearestâ, he offered, âI know you worked hard on it and I wouldnât want to rip it to piecesâ, you giggled as you took your hands to your back as you sat on the bed and undid the laces, and then Cregan took care of the rest, taking the dress off of your body
And soon you were only in your underdress, a thin layer of white camisole, like your nightshift
âFuckâ, he cursed like he was in pain when he saw you, he bit his own lips
âI want to see youâ, you said, your shaky hands on his chest, over the buttons of his vest. He understood immediately and you helped him get rid of it.
Son his top half was naked in front of you, and he was so beautiful, his muscled tones and thick like logs, you could see some scars covering his chest
You looked up at him again and you found him smiling, he trapped your face between his hands again and he kissed you, passionately, lovingly, sweetly, all the beautiful words that described it, you felt it all, all the good things.
And soon you were laying on the bed with him on top of you
âDid you make this?â, he asked against your lips, tugging at your underdress, you shook your head and that is all it took for him to rip it off. You shirked, amused, as now you were naked underneath him
For his eyes and his eyes alone, and he feast on your naked body, eyes and greedy hands grabbed and touched everything they could
You had no time nor need to be nervous, he was seeing you naked and he liked what he saw.
âYou are so beautiful, my wifeâ, he said proudly, and you smiled, he took his hands towards his pants, the last piece of clothing separating you two, and he got rid of them
You whimpered when you saw it
You had only see a âmanhoodâ in drawings in books you were not supposed to see, it did not look like this, this was bigger, much more bigger, and⊠you got nothing to compare it to, but, it was thick and long and⊠even pretty
âCreganâ, you moaned, and he leaned down until he covered your whole body with his.Â
Your legs parted automatically to make space for him, and he accommodate so easily between you, like he belonged there between your thighs, it felt so good, it felt like a lightning bolt struck you when you felt him, thereÂ
âIt might hurt a little wifeâ, he growled, again, like he was in pain. âLet me seeâ, he said gently, leading his hand over to your intimacy
You moaned loud when his fingers tickled you, teasing you open, and found you so embarrassingly wet for himÂ
âMy good wifeâ, he moaned, âyou want me donât you?â, he asked
âYes I do Cregan, I want youâ, you begged him, his fingers entered you gently, two of them, it was tight, but he entered you easily because of how lubricated you were, he played you like the gentlest of instruments, opening you for him, and it felt so good you could only fathom how good the whole of him was going to feel inside of you
He touched you, he fingered you until you felt a tight knot on your belly, tighter each time, and then⊠and then⊠it suddenly released itself and you moaned loudly when you cummed all over his fingers
âThatâs my good girlâ, he praised and you thought you cumed a second time. You had heard that it could feel this good, women you have met had said that it was like touching heaven, and now you believed them to be true. âYou are doing so good for meâ, he said with kind eyes
âI want you nowâ, you begged, âpleaseâ
âYou have meâ, he said, and then, you felt him
You whimpered when he entered you slowly, splitting you open for him, it did hurt, it was a stretch, but⊠the pain passed quickly when he started kissing you softly, gently, his hands caressing your face, neck, shoulder sides, everywhere to distract you
âYou feel so goodâ, he whispered against your cheek, âso, so goodâ
âIt feels so tightâ, you said loosely, your mind started to leave your body, and you concentrated yourself in all the sensations.
Now he was buried to the hilt, and good because you didnât think you had more room inside of you to receive him, a pair of stray tears fall off your eyes and got lost in your hair, Cregan kissed the trail they left to comfort you and it worked
âYou are so good for meâ, he said, this time, more firmly, he wanted you to know he was telling the truth, âRiding north all alone, to offer yourself to the wolf, uh?â, he mocked gently, kissing the tip of your nose, âyou did so good, you knew it, didnât you?â, he asked, his gray eyes looking down at you, hungry eyes, like the ones of a hunter that has caught his prey, âthat you belong with meâ
âYesâ, you said in a whisper, âI belong with you, my big wolfâ
âThatâs itâ, he purred, and then he leaned down and trapped your lips on yours, you hugged him tightly against you as he stilled, buried deep inside you, you could feel him in your belly, you were so full of him, and it drove you insane
You moved your own hips to let him now it was fine, it was good now, he could take you, and he didnât lose any more time time, he retrieved himself, and when you thought he was going to take himself off of you, he entered you again, making you moan, whimper, your nails digging into his skin.Â
âCregan!â, you called when he thrusted into you a second time, and then a third, and then he acquired speed, and a steady pace, in and out of you
He cursed with gritted teeth, like he was executing a great strength to do this with you, and you guessed he was enjoying himself, it felt like it. it felt so fucking good
âFuck, my sweet dragon!â, he growled, buried deep inside you
âMy wolfâ, you whined needily, hugging to yourself, you never wanted to apart from him ever again, but at the same time, you needed him to keep doing what he was doing
Between grunts, moans, and low curses, you proclaimed you loved each other, the bed whirred underneath you, underneath your wild movements of your love making,
âFuckâ, he cursed, âmy sweet wife, I need to askâŠâ, he asked between grunts
âWhat?â, you asked
âDo you want me to come inside you? Do you want me to give you a baby?â, and you whined in pleasure, and you nodded enthusiastically
âYes! yes please!â, you begged him
âmy good little wifeâ, he admired, âcanât wait to bear my children canât you?â, you shook your head, âyou are going to look so pretty swelling with my baby inside of youâ
âYes please, I want toâ, you begged him
âThat is my good girlâ, he praised. And he kissed you deeply as he spilled his seed deep in your womb, you hugged him tightly, you didnât want to release him, now or ever.Â

Kingâs landing was submerged in celebration.
Everyone was in good spirits.
it was the fifteenth anniversary of King Viserys marriage to Queen Alicent Hightower
And he wanted to celebrate it, he wanted everyone to celebrate it with him.
But you had spent the last six months in the Red Keep after losing your father, and the truth is, even if you were excited to spend time with your cousins and nephews, knowing there were kids you could play with⊠you came to a rude awakening.
They didnât receive you with open arms, they didnât want to play with you, in fact, they seemed to want to play you instead.
They were mean and rude, using you as targets for their pranks and mean jokes.
You tried to avoid them, but you had classes with them, you visited the Dragonpit alongside them, and you had lessons taught by maesters by their side.
Uncle Viserys seemed surprised when he learned that your father was educating you like you were a little boy, learning about politics and philosophy, instead of knitting and poetry. He was pleased, and didnât go against his brotherâs desires so he put you to learn alongside his sons and grandsons
He meant well, they didnât
You were soon brought back to reality when Jace pulled your hair roughly
âAnd (Y/N) with her imaginary dragonâ, he mocked
âMy dragon existsâ, she pouted, âshe is not made upâ
âThen where is she? we had never seen her!â, mocked Luke
âShe is real! Iâm telling you! it was my fatherâs dragon, she is shy that is allâ, Aemond didnât say anything
âEven she has a dragon, but not you Uncle!â, continued Jace, âbut we are going to change thatâ, your ears picked up, and you looked interested, how Luke jogged down the ramp
âYou found a dragon? how?â, asked Aemond
âThe Gods provideâ, muttered Aegon, and you and Aemond both stopped your very thoughts when Luke came running up with a pig on a leash, wings and a tail of straws.
âBehold! the pink dread!â, they mocked, and for once, even if you were relieved they targeted Aemond this time, and not you, you still felt bitter
âYou can share it with (Y/N)!â, Jace said, ah there it was.
That very night the Red Keep was overflowing, with lords and ladies from all the corners of the realm that had come to celebrate the King and the Queen and their love. You were so excited, perhaps you would meet more children to play with, to befriend.
The maids dressed you and Helaena, her in a green gown, and you in a red one, with golden patterns, you felt like a little princess. Well, not like you werenât one. they braided your hair beautifully, you were so happy.
But as soon as you got out of Helaenaâs chambers, the boys were there, no doubt waiting for you. They held one of Helaenaâs bugs, to her horror, a big centipede. You shrieked when they moved it teasingly near you
âYour hairdo is missing something!â, they would mock
âNo! it doesnât!â, you fought, trying to move Jaceâs hand away from your head. You pushed Jace with all your might, and then you ran away from them. You heard them chasing after you, but you were smaller, and faster, so you managed to lose them in the many corridors of Maegorâs Holdfast
Your hiding turned long, you knew you were late to the banquet, so turning gently and slowly in every corner and looking over your shoulder, you walked towards the throne room that had been arranged for the feast.
The room was booming in the middle of dinner, the wine was flowing freely and the meat was being served, you had almost managed to escape your torturers⊠almostâŠ
The banquet began and the boys had already shown you what they planned to do to your hair⊠so you didnât wait to submit to that fate, instead, you found a place where the long big table was empty, or sort of, and you ducked underneath, not wanting the boys to ruin your pretty hair. You crawled under the table to safetyâŠ
You were safe⊠but not for long.
You noticed people sitting on the part of the table you were hiding under. Soon a big black boot almost stepped on you and you whimpered in fear, the sole colliding with your knees.
You looked up and the tablecloth was moved out of the way and a face showed up, looking no doubt at the soft thing he almost crushed. It was a young man, dark hair, gentle eyes and black clothing
âWhat are you doing down there?â, he asked, looking down the table at you, his gray eyes made you tremble. It was none other than Cregan Stark, of course, you didnât know that then
âIâm hiding Serâ, she whispered, Cregan chuckled
âIâm not a Ser, Iâm a Lordâ, he corrected
âIâm sorry Lordâ, she muttered
âWhy are you hiding?â, he asked then
âThey mock me, they pull my hair, they tangle bugs in it, they call me namesâ, she confessed, hiding her face in her knees, âthey are mean to me, my cousins and nephewsâ
âIâm sorryâ, he then looked up from her, towards the back of the table, where the kids passed running looking for something, or her, more like it. âShe left that wayâ, he indicated away to Aemond, Jace and Luke, and the boys ran away, when they were gone, he looked down the tablea gain, âthey are goneâ
âThank you Lordâ, she answered with a smile
âSit with me, nobody would dare to mess with the wolvesâ, he offered, showing you a hand, âyou look so pretty, it would be a shame if nobody got to see itâ, he said gently. You smiled brightly, and took his hand.
Everybody seemed surprised when you came out from under the table, you were in the middle of the Northmen, you only had to look at the wolf sewed in their clothes to see it
You took a seat by the leader, between him and a beautiful lady.
âThis is my lady wife, Arra Norrynâ, he introduced, and you smiled
âNice to meet youâ, you greeted
âAnd who you might be?â, she asked with a gentle smile, sharing looks with Cregan, if your hair was any indication, but they were playing along
âIâm (Y/N) Targaryenâ, you said politely, just like your father has taught you, you offered your hand to the nice lady and she shook it
âIâm Lord Cregan Starkâ, the nice man introduced himself, giving you his hand to shake, and you took it amongst yours, ânice to meet you princessâ. You beamed
âThank you for inviting me to join My Lordsâ. When you looked in front of you, you saw your cousins and nephews looking at you wide eyed, and you couldnât help but stick out the tip of your tongue to them, they couldnât bother you now.
âYou are such a sweet princess, if I may say soâ, the nice Lady Arra said.
âYou too, My Ladyâ, you answered back. And the Lords of Winterfell shared looks.
For members of court that looked over at the table of the Northmen, they would chuckle in amusement when they saw you, a silver and red dot in the middle of dark haired and black wearers, lords and ladies.
Of course the Queen immediately spotted you, and she sent Criston Cole to remove you from the table of the Starks, pulling you roughly by the arm and making you sit right amongst Jace and Aemond on the main table
âYou thought you got away?â, mocked Jace, âI got some news for youâ, he whispered, sticking a chicken bone trough the longest of your braids
âI hate youâ, you cried, defeated. But as you looked along the table to your new found friends, the big man with dark hair smiled apologetically to you, and you only waved back, sadly
That was the first time you laid eyes on Cregan Stark
But not the last.
the relationships you had with your cousins and nephews did not improve, in fact, it worsened, so you found ways to escape them, mainly, by hanging out with Helaena
Your uncle, the King, never failed in telling you how much you reminded him of your father, but other than that, he didnât quite pay attention to you much, not that he paid attention to your cousins and nephews eitherâŠ
You sometimes would accompany him while he arranged his model of Old Valyria, but that was it.
Luckily for you, or sort of, everything changed when your aunt Laena passed away, the family went to Driftmark, and an altercation occurred.
The Velaryon were bastards, that is what you have heard, that is what everybody was saying, and Aegon was right, you just had to look at them to realize it, Jace was a spitting image of that super nice knight, Ser Harwin Strong, you didnât understand why it was such a big deal, but a fight ensued, knives were drawn.
Jace and Luke left with cousin Rhaenyra to live in Dragonstone, two of your torturers gone, but AemondâŠ
Oh Aemond.
That night, you defended Rhaena, declaring that you had inherited your fatherâs dragon, and she should have done the same, so Aemond pushed you the hardest against the stone wall, making your hands raw when they hit the stones trying to stop your face from colliding. You whimpered in pain, but you felt silly when Luke got his nose broken and AemondâŠ
Aemond had lost an eye
You were no longer children playing cruel jokes to one another.
Blood had been drawn, insults were exchangedâŠ
And everything changed. For the worst.
The Red Keep had become dark, mournful even.
You were not a stranger to the enmity between Princess Rhaenyra and Queen Alicent, but you didnât know what it was about, or why they always were so unhappy with one another. You only noticed the tension between them in family dinners and after council meetings. Even you could notice and you could barely breathe sometimes over the table.
The only one you had left was Aemond, and sometimes Helaena
Aemond didnât chase you around with spiders, or hid buggers inside the pages of the books you liked to read. He was even more cruel, with mean looks, he sometimes would shove you when he passed you in the Hallways and you would collide heavily with the stone walls. He would say horrible things about you right in front of you like you were not even there, and he would pull your hair to move you out of his way.
He would say things like. âShe is a burdenâ, âan orphanâ, sometimes he even called you a bastard
Helaena said he was jealous, but you didnât understood why in earth he would be jealous of you!, and she once went further and hinted that he liked you, loved you even, but you shook your head and called her silly
Love doesnât make you hurt.
Heavy days turned to weeks, turned to months and years. And soon, everyone was talking about how you were becoming a Lady, of barely thirteen name days under your arm.
And you felt more like a Lady, you didnât care about the same things you did when you were younger.
Aemondâs cruelty had come to a some sort of stop.
Because now you were a lady you were instructed by Septas, not Maesters, and Ladies, and not Knights and Professors.
And even if your knitting lessons would bore you the death, you preferred it to Aemond choosing every opportunity in your lessons to humiliate you. Besided, after he lost his eye, Aemond had completely changed.
He always seemed to be the mature one of all his siblings and nephews, but now, he was not only serious, but bitter, and more cruel than before.
You never saw him smile again. And his horrible attitude towards you made it difficult for you to feel sorry for him. You didnât. You didnât think he deserved it either, but you didnât pity him, and that, unbeknownst to you, made him hate you even more.
It got so bad even Alicent noticed it, of course she didnât say anything but she tried her best to keep you away from him as much as possible.
Yes, your stay in the Red Keep wasnât a pleasant one, you missed your father terribly. You missed your home, a small castle in the Valley, with views to the Narrow Sea. You felt like you were a permanent guest here, but a guest at last. Nothing was truly yours.
But you tried to keep your smiles, you good attitude, you were found always smiling, always helping, lighting every room you enteredâŠ
If only you knew that was the reason Aemond hated you.
He hated how happy you were, you were an orphan, alone, mistreated, you should be as miserable as he felt, he, that had his parents, and a dragon, and everything he could ask for in the palm of his hand or an order away, he was retched, and you were always happy and smiling.
He wanted you to feel as he felt, but he could never accomplish it, he could never break you.
And in time instead of frustrating him, it only spurred him on.
Aegon paid you no mind, he was four years older than you and since he was fourteen he learned how to scape the Red Keep and found pleasures of the flesh, and when Aemond turned thirteen he introduced him to those pleasures.
And Aemonds attitude towards you changed once moreâŠ
He didnât push you no more, he started grabbing you, your wrists, your arms so roughly they bruised.
When he pushed you against the stone walls he didnât just snicker and leave, no, he would grab your wrists and corner you, only watching you with his only eye and a thin line as his lips, and then he would release you and leave.
It started scaring you, so you avoided him like the plague, instead hiding in Helaenaâs room, but she soon married Aegon, so you couldnât do that anymore either.
You made one friend though, Tyland the master of coinâs daughter, she was so sweet, a little mischievous, always getting you into trouble, but it was nice to have a friend.
You were walking alongside her when Aemond walked by, he grabbed your arm roughly and leaned in to take a sniff at your hair by your ear, he muttered an âmmmâ and then he walked away. You only signed, already accustomed to his rough ways.
And she had watched it all happen.
âThe one-eye prince liked you, on his own wayâ, she mocked
âHe hates meâ, you muttered, âand Iâm tired of itâ
âI donât think he doesâ, she mocked, âI bet he is going to ask his mother to betrothed you twoâ
âIâd rather get trampled and eaten by my dragonâ, you said back
âAnyways, letâs talk about it when you are popping out silver haired princesâ, you rolled your eyes. âAnyways, have you heard? The Starks are arriving in courtâ
âWhy?â You asked
âThey said the Wolf is looking for a wife, Lady Arra Norryn died, her and the babe on childbirthâ, you looked at her wide eyed
âReally? Thatâs horribleâ, you muttered, your heart clenching thinking about how heartbreaking that must be for him, you remembered the Northerner Lord fondly.
You wanted to see him, you wanted to say you are sorry for him loosing his wifeâs and that you were at his service for everything he might need.
But you couldnât find him.
First he was getting settled in his rooms, then he had audience with the King, and then, the courtship began, every man in court Im who had a daughter in elegible age wanted to see the Young lord, so you couldnât offer your condolences
On top of that⊠One of the Queenâs maids said that Aemond wanted to speak to you.
Aemond had never requested your attention, he gave you no choice but to stand there and listen to whatever mean thing he had to sayâŠ
The very thought of what he might want to discuss with you made your skin crawl.
So you did what you had learned to do bestâŠ
You hid.
Your favorite spot had become a tall Cypress in the godswood, their branches and the way they were trimmed allowed you to hide comfortably, in some sort of natural tree house.
You took a book with you and waited until no donât was around to climb up, and you hid up there
But another person felt the same need as you.
This person wanted to escape the heat of court, and enjoy a little shade in the godswood, looking at the Heart tree, to be close to his gods.
So Cregan Stark sat on the foot of the tree, wanted to rest until⊠your book fell from your hand and landed right by him.
You gasped and that is all it took for him to look up and find you
âWhy every time I see you, you are hiding from something?â, he spoke to you, a soft smile on his lips
âSomeoneâ
âUh?â, he asked
âIâm hiding from someoneâ you corrected.
âThat is worseâ, he said, âwhy are you hiding this time?â, he spoke like three years hadn't gone by and you were that little kid hiding under the table.
âSomeone wants to speak to me, and I donât want to speak to himâ
âItâs a boy, thenâ
âMore like a messenger from the seven devilsâ, you mocked. Feeling at ease, he wasnât looking right at you, you were still hidden, and he was seated looking at the gods tree
âIâm sorry about your wife, my lordâ, you said gently
âIt happened two years agoâ, he answered sharply
âBut Iâm guessing it still hurtsâ, he got quiet for a moment
âIt did, it doesâ
âDid you love her?â, you have no clue why you asked that, but not having him looking straight at you give you courage
âI didâ, he said truthfully, âI had the luck of marrying my very best friend, the girl I known since I was born, and I lost herâ
âIâm very sorryâ, you whispered, âI Can't imagine what you are feeling, because what you had, of being friends with the person you married, is truly something magnificentâ, you whispered, looking up at the branches being caressed by the soft summer wind
âThank you princessâ, he whispered, âyou alongside my sister where the only ones who truly gave a heartfelt sympathy, everyone else is just⊠is expecting me to move onâ
âYou can feel whatever you need to feel, only you will tell when you are ready to move onâ, you offered, âtell them to fuck offâ, you covered your mouth when you let out that curse, but he only chuckled
âI will princessâ, he said, he then stood up, and offered his hand to help you climb down, and you did accept his help, letting yourself fall free to his arms because you knew he was going to catch you, and he did.
He released you so your feet touched the ground.
âI offer the same advice princessâ he said with a smile, âtell them to fuck offâ. You giggled and nodded, picking up your book from the ground
âSee you around my lordâ
âSee you aroundâ he whispered
You walked away from the godswood, and in your way to Maegor's holdfast, you encountered Aemond
âWhere were you!? I needed to speak to youâ, he said, with his characteristic arrogance
âOh fuck off Aemond!â You responded , escaping his wandering hand and walking hastily away from him, leaving him standing in the middle of the hallway.

The vibe around the Lords and Ladies of the North wasnât nice when you returned from Kingâs Landing, with your white haired baby in your arms
Many started saying that you had returned to Aemond willingly, and you had given birth to his child, since Jonaerys was clearly a Valyrian like you, and like the Kinslayer.
But things stopped and improved when you gave birth to your third child, a year after you came back to Winterfell, also a boy, who looked very similar to his brother, only with the colors of his father, dark locks of hair, and icy gray eyes. A true looking Northerner.
You named him Torrhen
Torrhen Stark
Cregan would walk proudly in the hallways of Winterfell and all over with his sons in his arms, Rickon trotting behind him as he grew up, and three direwolves following close behind.
But only one dragon hatched from all the eggs Vhaelar bring forth, Jonaerysâ egg. it took months after you came back, and a dragon keeper had to move in Winterfell to take care of Vhaelar and her hatchling.
Jonahâs dragon was so different from everything you had ever seen before, it was black, with silvery white markings, and big gray eyes. his flames were icy blue, as Vhaelarâs were bluish with purple flareÂ
When Torrhen was 1, you suffered through another winter by then, and as it became some sort of âtraditionâ, Cregan got you pregnant with what you truly wished was a girlâŠ
But it wasnâtÂ
You bring forth a baby with dirty blonde hair, and when he opened his eyes you saw with amazement he had one purple eye and the other gray, he was like Alyssa, your grandmother, who had similar features, you often wonder where he came from, he looked nothing like you or Cregan, but your husband was ecstaticÂ
You wanted a Valyrian name for your peculiar child, and Cregan compromised in naming him Orys, like the rumored bastard brother of Aegon the Conqueror
Orys StarkÂ
So Rickon was 5, Jonaerys 4, Torrhen two and a half, and Orys 1 year old, when you got pregnant again.
After Creganâs begging
You believed you were done, you loved your children very much and you were begging for a little girl, that never came, so you believed you were done, you had four beautiful children with your loving husband
But you couldnât deny anything to those beautiful Gray eyesÂ
So you held your big belly as you awaited Saraâs arrival.
Sara had fallen in love with Creganâs best friend, who had come to Winterfell four years ago to grieve for the loss of his wife, and he fell in love with her. Ben Tallheart, so they married, Sara became a loving stepmother to a beautiful little girl who was now five years old, and they lived happily in Torrhenâs square, hence the name of your baby boy.
âSister!â, she screeched, hugging you tightly around your belly
âSisterâ, you whispered happily in her ear, Cregan just stood there, amused that Sara would always greet you first, but then he hugged his sister dearly
âMissed youâ, it was true, you had missed her so dearly, the castle seemed almost empty without her in it
After warm greetings, Cregan took his friend so both of them could talk, while you took Sara who was so excited to see her baby nephews, who had multiplied in the last years. You went into the nursery, where they were all gathered, the four of your children, it was Orys nap timeÂ
Rickon and Jonaerys hugged her tightly, running to her arms; they have gotten so big, Torrhen followed shortly after.
Sara was playing on the floor with her nephews, with their wooden figurines, as you sat on a long chair, rubbing your belly, you were super tired, you always were
âHow is the pregnancy going?â, she asked
âIt's different this timeâ, you confessed, Sara looked at you, gray eyes wide open
âWhat do you mean?â, she asked, you only shook your head, looking down at your huge belly
âIâve been so tiredâ, you whispered, âI can barely eat, I feel awfulâ, she looked at you determinedly, âmy belly is hugeâ
âWhat are you saying?â, she asked gently, you only shook you head
âI donât feel as strong as I did beforeâ, she looked concerned, as she was trying hard to remember something
âI'm sure everything's going to be alrightâ she said with a calming smile, you smiled back as you caressed your big belly.
You werenât bluffing, you realized you were pregnant because of how much you threw up, you could barely find something to eat that didnât make you sickÂ
Cregan hunted everything he could get his hands on, and Thelma cooked everything with different spices each time, but to no avail, everything made you sick, all the meats, so THelma fought hard to cook you legumes and different pies with vegetables.
Even soâŠ
You still felt really weak.
This wasnât like all your pregnancies before, and Cregan seemed truly concerned for you. He was over you at all times, tending you, caring for you, like your very first pregnancy with Rickon.Â
And now Sara wouldn't take her eyes off of you now, always watching what you ate.
Your baby was restless, kicking you always, and you immense belly, sometimes you felt like you had a real dragon inside you womb, with more than four extremitiesÂ
But right after that thought, memories of all those Targaryen women who lost their babies, and what came out of them were truly dragon-like babies, and then you shook your head, wanting to purge those dark thoughts out of your mind.
But you had to be strong, you had to be, you had already given birth to four! FOUR babies, and everything went well, this was not going to be the exception
The night found you in the great hall, holding a feast for your guests, with Sara and Ben, and everyone really in the castle.
âI have an announcement to makeâ, Ben spoke, as he raised from his chair, raising his cup. âFirst I want to thank our gracious hostsâ, he said, pointing at you and Cregan, who held your hand tightly. âFor receiving us, and now⊠I want to say that the Lady of Torrhen Square and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our first child!â, he said, and the hall broke out with cheers and applause
You hugged Sara tightly
âIâm so happy for you!â, you greeted, and she laughed in your ear
âThank you!â, as Cregan was hugging Ben, and then he turnedÂ
âMy beautiful sisterâ, whispered Cregan happily, hugging her tightly, you hugged Ben then
That made Creganâs spirit rise for the coming days, and Sara and Ben agreed to stay here in Winterfell until she gave birth, meaning⊠six whole months, and you couldnât be happier
The castle seemed to roar with life since then.
Rickon, Jonaerys and Eddara, Benâs daughter, played through the hallways, and they were always filled with giggles and laughterÂ
And your belly got bigger and bigger, and you grew tired and tiredÂ
Everytime Cregan looked at you, it was like his heart was broken, you knew he was afraid, you were becoming paler, and tired by the day.
At night you would beg him to make love to you, and he would, that made you happy, as he spoon you with him deep inside you as he cradled your big belly, he would kiss every inch of your body with devotion, and hugged you through the night.Â
âCanât wait to meet this babyâ, he whispered sweetly in your ear
âMe tooâ, you said back, âperhaps it is finally a girlâ, you teased
âOh what I would give for a daughter that looks like youâ, he whispered back, nuzzling his nose into your hairÂ
âShe would be pretty cute, wouldnât she?â, you kept teasing
âShe wouldâ, he whispered, âthank youâ, he whispered
âfor what?â, you asked back
âFor everythingâ, he said back, âyou brought me back to life, you gave me four beautiful boys, you turned Winterfell into a homeâ
âWell, you are very welcomeâ, you giggled, you turned around to meet him, and you kissed him lovingly, âthank you too, you did helped in everything you just mentionedâ, and he chuckled against your lips
âI did my partâ, he kept teasing, as you cuddled into the night.
The very next day, Cregan was outside, with Ben, you believed they went into the wolfâs wood to hunt, when your water broke
Immediately a pain shot through you like a lightning bolt, making you cry out.Â
The pain was blinding, it wasnât a contraction it was something else, something else entirely, and besides, you were certain the nine moons haven't completed yet. Soon people entered the room, maids, followed by Sara, immediately they held you, trying to prevent you from collapsing into the stone floor of your rooms
âIt hurts!â, you cried
âCall the midwife, NOWâ, screamed Sara, âfind my brotherâ, but the pain was so blinding you couldnât quite pay attention to what was going on around you
You felt your dress being ripped away from your body, a night shift placed instead, soft and light as a feather, and then you were laid in the bed softly.Â
The contractions began shortly after, and it was hurting so much you couldnât have a real grasp on reality anymore.
A young man, who worked at the stables was sent to find Cregan, he knew the woods by the palm of his hand, so he didnât have trouble finding the hunting party.
âMY LORDSâ, it took only that scream, for Cregan to know it was about you, and considering the state you were in, that you had gone into labor
Nobody could reach him as he mounted his horse and started galloping without stopping. He rode back to Winterfell at an incredible speed, jumped off his horse and ran inside the castle.
He ran towards your room and he could hear the screams from the second floor.
His heart got tight inside of his chest, and he found you struggling, the bed soaked in your blood, he had never been so scared in his life, not even when the war happened.Â
He was at your side in a second, he grasped your hand in his and started at you wide eyed
âDarling, Iâm hereâ
âCreganâ, you called, âIt hurtsâ
âi know my love, I knowâ, he soothed, looking at the midwives who looked at each other with worried glances
It was bad, he knew it, everybody knew it, at one point, the midwives didnât know what to do so they called in the maester who gave you milk of the poppy to clear, rather, distract your mind from the pain
It did help, when it took effect, you received the command
âPush my ladyâ
And you did, gods you did, with all your strength.
It was bloody, it was painful, it was worrying, but after two hours, the room was filled with the cries of a babe
âA little girl Mâlord!â, chanted the midwife, receiving the crying child into the world
Cregan sighed loudly, with relief, squeezing your hand back, as he looked at the midwife cleaning a little baby with pitch black hair, he had a daughter.
But this wasnât over yet, you cried in agony again, and Cregan looked down at you, still grasped in the claws of pain.Â
âThe afterbirth?â, he asked, but the maester shook his head, seeming horrified
âNo, I thinkâŠâ
âIt's another babeâ, said the midwife, as he give the little baby girl to his father, who was wide-eyed, not knowing if to be relieved, or scared to death, he looked down at the face of his little daughter and caressed her little head.
But when he looked at you he was so scared, you were shaking with pain, blood oozing out of you, he whimpered
âI think the baby is breachedâ, the midwife whined, like she was in the same state of horror
Hours went by
You were in a state of such pain your eyes were closed and you couldnât scream anymore, you just whined softly.
Cregan was in the corner of the room, her daughter in his arms, but he just looked ahead, scared to death, his worry was such that he believed he was going to age centuries.
The maester whispered in the corner with the midwife, as her assistants were each by your side, whispered words of comfort, rubbing your belly hoping to push the baby out themselvesÂ
âYou need to be strong My ladyâ, whispered one, a young sweet girl, âthink of your children, they need you, those sweets boy, and your baby girlâ
you only got to nod, that phrase seemed to be the only thing that could pierce through the cloud of pain and milk of the poppy. Using the last of your strength, you leaned in, and pushed, again, the thought of your husband and children spurred you on, your baby, still inside of you, needed to make it out.
The midwife saw your intent and was with you in a second
Cregan gave his baby girl to the maester, and was also with you.
âYou can do this love, pleaseâ, he begged, âpleaseâŠâ
It was another hour, you had been at this for six whole hours, when another cry was heard in the room.
Another little girl
With hair white as ice, and reddened face.
Then it came the afterbirth, but for that, you couldnât no longer feel anything at all
The maids washed you and changed the sheets, you were breathing steadily, but you were barely conscious.
Cregan had his new baby girl in his arms, his dream came true, she did look like you, but the maester was telling him you had lost a lot of blood, that you could no longer have any more children⊠if you ever woke upâŠÂ
Sara had heard anything, but she was with your other children
âWhat is happening, where is mama?â, asked Jonaerys, he was a sensitive boy, he felt everything
âShe is giving birth to the baby, sweet boyâ, she whispered, as she cradled Orys in her arms hoping to made him sleep
âShe is taking too longâ, he whispered, his eyes filled with tears
Rickon came and hugged his brother
âShe will be alright, she is mommyâ, he said back, Sara looked as the sweet boys hugged themselvesÂ
âHer vision had never wrong before, you were going to pull out of this
But Cregan was scared, very, very scared
The maids had called in wetnurses from the village, and they took both his daughters with them.Â
He just stood by your side
As the maester else him with the promise that if you made it out tonight, you were going to regain your strength
âPlease donât leave meâ, he whispered, his tears choking him, âplease, I beg of youâ, he begged like a prayer, holding your hand, âyou give me all I ever dreamed of, you deserve to enjoy it by my side, our beautiful children, our six children you gave meâ, he said with teary eyes, âplease my love, I will follow you soon after, please donât abandon me, our children need you, I need you, pleaseâ
He was seated on a chair he needed right next to the bed, and laid his head by your side, still holding your hand.
He stayed there all night, right next to you, hearing your faint breaths.
It was early in the morning, when you squeezed his hand back, and he cried in relief.
. . .
Two weeks passed, and you had recuperated your strength. Cregan brought you your girls as soon as you woke up, and spent the night with the four of you, after eating plentifully.Â
One of your daughters had the northerner features, while the other was a Valyrian just like you, you named them Robyn and Rhaenys, the latter in honor of your dear aunt, who had been like a mother to you.Â
âThey are in very good health, My Lordsâ, said the maester, you smiled widely, looking at your daughters, who were both of them awake, laid on your bed, and wiggling happily, âalthoughâ
You and Cregan both snapped your head to look at the maester
âAlthough?â, you asked fearful, you then looked at your babies
âLittle Rhaenys, I think there is something wrongâ, your eyed immediately filled with tears
The old man showed you, he clapped his hand near Robyn, and she blinked her eyes and squirmed because of the loud noise, but he repeated the same thing near Rhaenys, and she barely reacted
âWhat does it mean?â, you whined, Crregan held you
âShe might be deaf, my ladyâ, he whispered, Cregan held you against his chest. As you cried, scared of what that could mean.Â
âDoes that mean she canât hear?â, asked RIckon, you wiped your tears immediately, and your two eldest sons entered the room. Torrhen still didnât know what was going on, and Orys was still a baby.
âThat is right boyâ, Cregan was strong, as he smiled to his eldest son
âWe will create a cool language with our hands so we can speak to her, thenâ, Rickon said like it wasnât a big deal. And you laughed wholeheartedly, hugging and kissing your son.Â
Now you had your six puppies, everything was going to be alright. With your growing family, and Sara, and Creganâs best friends
And a huge feast they threw in Kingâs Landing in your honor.Â

Thanks to all of you! and see you in my next story!
I'm crying as I write this :(
The castle was roaring with life, the great families had arrived, and even though it was a bit tense because of the loyalties of the past wars, people were trying to heal, to leave everything behind themÂ
Even though you didnât like the idea, all your children were to their own machinations, you knew the castle was the safest palace, but you still felt a bit uneasy to let your girls walk around alone, but you sent a Kingâs guard with them.Â
Rhaenys found a beautiful spot in the gardens, she was enjoying the smells and the beautiful flowers in the gardens, and took her notebook with her to draw
She saw from the corner of her eye some people approaching, once she raised her head, she saw that it was two young men, probably her oldest brotherâs age
âWell, hello my ladyâ, Rhaenys saw them approaching and gave them all her attention, smiling at them and waving gently, âHow are you this day?â, she could not hear them, not answer them, so she just smiled and nodded, âwell?â, the man insisted
It was a young man, heir to House Baratheon, the son of a cousin to the lata Borros, and his friend from House Trant.
She smiled apologetically, trying to communicate with him with her hands, but the guy wouldnât understand herÂ
âShe is an idiot, she might be dimwittedâ, laughed the Trant boy
âWell, I donât need her to be smartâ, the other one laughed, âits enough that she is a Targaryenâ, he said looking down at her
She could not speak, or hear, but she was really good at reading lips, so she could understand what those boys said about her. She whimpered, tears filling her eyes. She stood up from the bench and ran away from them, unknowingly, her Great Uncle Corlys had heard the whole thing, and pursed his lips in disgustÂ
âGet Rickon and Jonaerysâ, he said to one of his faithful servants who walked with him at his old age, the boy nodded and ran to get the boys.Â
Once the young Velaryon spotted the two Starks, he led them back to Corlys, and the old man told them what happened with Rhaenys and the Baratheon, to see their reaction, and it didn't disappoint. A hunt began for the baratheon cunt, as they call it
âIts him!â, pointed the Velaryon boy, and the Baratheon saw with horror how by the corner of the Hallway appeared two enraged Stark-Targaryen running towards him.
âSon of a bitch!â
âI will kill you!â, they used the fact that they were near a balcony⊠they grabbed him between the two of them and pushed him towards it
The Baratheon boy was screaming, so scared he almost peed his pants as Jonaerys and Rickon grabbed him by the arms and legs and swung him over the rail.
But they wouldnât really kill him, they didnât let go of him as he swang heads down and could look in terror five stories down
âYou think you can insult our sister?â, growled Rickon as he shook him
âNo! No! Iâm sorry!â
âIf you ever go near her again I will kill you!â, threatened Jonaerys
âYou are not good enough for her!â, said Rickon then, and the Baratheon only promised and begged to be lifted upÂ
They finally relented and the poor boy scrambled to get to his feet and ran away, stumbling away through the corridor.
Corlys just looked at the scene, smiling and pleased, no one is to mess with little Rhaenys, she was not dim-witted, she was smart, only had a hearing impair
âYour sons are savages!â, said Baldric Baratheon, pointing at Cregan Stark, âthey threatened the life of my son and heir Crispianâ
âIâm sure they were just⊠boys being boysâ, he explained, âyou remember what thatâs likeâ, he said
âDo you consider grabbing him and swinging him over a balcony just âboys being boysâ?â, he asked, and Cregan turned to meet the eyes of his two sons
They both started talking at the same time
âThat cunt called our sister dim-witted!â
âHe bothered Rhaenys, and called her names!â, they explained at the same time
âWhat?â, growled Cregan, turning to the shivering boy hiding behind his father
âThose are just words, your pups almost killed my son!â, fighted the Baratheon. He was right, he was deserve to be pushed out of the balcony, but the Baratheon was enraged, Cregan looked at Jacaerys who was there to serve as an judge in this situation
âThe boys should wait outsideâ, he suggested, and with a nod from Creganâs head his boys left the room, the Baratheon soon followed
âYour graceâ, called the Baratheon, âmy son was almost killedâ
âMy daughter was dishonoredâ, said Cregan
âReparations must be madeâ, continued the Baratheon, and Cregan looked at him in panic
âThis is a new country, for all of usâ, started Jacaerys, âwe are enjoying a period of peace, and we must keep it so, two great families cannot by dividedâ, both men nodded, agreeing to his words
âSo I propose a unionâ, said the Baratheon, Cregan just looked at him, âbetween your youngest, your silver-haired girl, and my son and heirâ
âThe silver-haired?â, said Cregan with disgust, âyou donât even know her name! you only care that she looks like a Targaryen donât you?â, he asked, âover my dead fucking body my pup will marry that talking twig you have for a son!â
âStark!â, growled Baldric
âEnough!â, called Jacaerys, both men stopped and looked at the Prince, âwe will not leave this room until this animosity is behind usâ, you finally dared to speak, as you had entered the room slowly and silently
âIâm sure this is all a misunderstandingâ, you said softly, all three men turned to look at you, âfrom what I gather, Lord Crispian did not know of our daughterâs hearing impedimentâ
âHe called her dim-wittedâ, you only shook your head
âAnd our sons threatened to throw him off a balcony, I think he learned his lessonâ, you said softly. You wanted to kill the boy as much as your sons did, but you could not cause a war between houses because of it, you knew House Baratheon was just returning to the fold after their allegiances in the warÂ
âVery wellâ, said Jacaerys, and the Lord of the Stormlands nodded, not contented but he realized a marriage alliance wasnât in the cards for this meeting, and the girl was still young, of twelve name days only
âOver my dead body any of my pups will marry a Baratheon!â, grunted Cregan as soon as you entered your chambers
âMaybe one day a Stark could be friends with a Baratheonâ, you suggested, âonly friendsâÂ
âNeverâ, grunted Cregan, ânot even after a hundred yearsâ, you only giggled, but nodded, âand he believed that skimpy kid could be a good match for OUR DAUGHTER!â, he said, again outraged, âthe audacity! the words of his house should be⊠âOurs is the audacityââ, he mocked again, and you couldnât help but giggle, âWhat?â, he was angry, but smiled nonetheless, to you, he would always smile
âYou are cute when you get frustrated like thatâ, you suggested, and he smirked, âThey wonât marryâ, you said softly, to calm him, it worked
âI know I know, but still⊠the audacity of that manâ, he growled, and you couldnât help but giggle again. You watched the frame of your husband walk around the room like a wolf in a cage, and you loved the fact that several layers of clothes were missing, well, it was summer and they were in the south, he no longer wore his cape and his thick vest, only a light black doublet over a thin chemiseÂ
He was so handsome
He stopped when he saw your eyes blown out like those of a kitten, he knew that look⊠He only smiled
Years had passed, his dark hair now had a bit of snow in it, he had lines in the corners of his eyes, and lines cutted his face, laugh lines you hoped. He never looked so handsome.
âCome hereâ, he whispered, and you obliged, âI love to see you all lady-likeâ, you, as did he, dressed differently in the capital, preferring colorful dresses made of silk, of tull, or other thinner fabrics.Â
He was delighted when his hands could feel your skin even though the thin layer of clothing.Â
âAnd I love to see you in your southern look tooâ, you teased
Oh and you loved each other right that evening
You and Cregan, besides attending tourneys and banquets, needed to held meetings with other Lords of the Kingdoms, specially from the Reach, to gather more supplies for the coming WinterÂ
Meanwhile your children would enjoy a life in the Keep.
Besides seeing on first row how knights would sung at eachtoher with long wooden spears, which they all enjoyed...
Corlys reached Rhaenys, intrigued by the little girl you had named after your dear aunt, he would gift her books and she would beam at him, until he had her teach him how to communicate with her, and they would spend whole afternoons communicating, telling each other stories, specially Corlys, since he had seen so much from his journeys, Orys would join them, interested more than anyone in the life Story of the Sea Snake
To those who were close to the sea snake, would say that his great niece and nephew brought light back into him, to the 76 year old man who thought he had lived it allÂ
Those same afternoons would find Rickon, Jonaerys and Baelor practicing their swordsmanship in the courtyard.Â
Daemon would look from the battlements, with a critic eye, to be exasperated enough by the young men that he would get hands in with their training, dismissing the Kingâs guardÂ
Daemon was a practical man, and he took no time in naming Jonaerys as his favorite successor, he would also give incentive to the lordling to have some time with his darling daughter Visenya, who would also watch them train.
Baelor and Visenya were supposed to be betrothed to one another, but they loved each other as siblings and rejected the union, and Daemon would happily get his nephew betrothed to his daughter instead.
Baelor found himself also learning how to communicate with Rhaenys, because he believe her to be the most beautiful girl he had ever seen
You spend half a year in the Red Keep, and it was blissful, but Cregan wanted to return, with joust reason, and, with bit of fear, you started to believe Jonaerys wanted to stay, he turned into a squire for Aegon the young, and he would practice everyday with Daemon and the Kingâs guard, you didnât say anything, but you just started preparing mentally for your son to tell you he wanted to stay here, back up by Daemon no less.
So when you communicated the Queen, and her King consort, of your departure in the next two weeks, it was no surprised that Daemon would cling into your second eldest son, but what surprised you the most, was most certainly Baelorâs decisionÂ
âI want to go with themâ, said Baelor, and you looked amazed, surprised, the responsibility was huge
âAre you sure?â, asked Jace, Baelor only nodded
âI would love to squire for Lord Cregan, I believe is for the best, what of Princeling would I be if I donât⊠fly off the nest? see the Kingdoms one day I will rule, learn how to be a Lord, a fighter, to care for other people?â, Cregan was pleased, as he placed his hand on his shoulder
âWe will care for himâ, your husband promised, and Jacaerys only nodded. The decision was made, so we had two weeks to prepare after Jonaerys told Cregan what you already knew, that he wanted to stay here, in the Red Keep, in Kingâs landing, with his seventeen name days already.
You had your dragons, he could return anytime he wished.Â
So when the time came to say goodbye, and your last day in the capital, you hugged Jonaerys tightly against you
âYou can always come back, you know? in your dragonâ, you whispered, tears in your eyes
âYes momâ, he whispered back, âBut I want to do this, there is something that wants me to stay here, and I must follow my heartâ, you only nodded, caressing his handsome face
âI love youâ
âI love you tooâ, you then stepped aside for Cregan to come near his son and hugged him tightly against him
âYour mother is right, your home will always be in Winterfellâ, he whispered, and Jonaerys hugged him tightlyÂ
âThank you fatherâ, he whispered back.
You saw him take two steps back and stand right next to Visenya and Daemon, who had come to say goodbye to you in the docks.Â
Corlys suggested taking you up to White Harbor himself on his ship, only because he wanted to spoil Rhaenys and Orys, unbeknownst to you. He believed Orys would have liked the sea as much as he did, and in the end, he was right.Â
So he invited you all to stop by Driftmark.
Your children loved sailing, Torrhen would not stop drawing parts of the ship that impressed him the most, Rhaenys and Orys would stuck by Corlyâs side as he barked around orders to his sailors, Cregan and you would gaze upon the horizon, and Robyn would be riding her dragon over your heads, as she used to do. Your darling daughter had an adventurous soul, she would spend more time in dragonback that she would on firm land, she had flied over to the wall, to bear island, everywhere, even without your permission, and you had no doubt that in this journey, all those times you couldnât find he, she had been flying in every direction to see what was out there, you feared that when she was older she was going to fly away and never come back. You could see she wanted to see across the narrow sea and beyondâŠÂ
When you arrived in Driftmark you met Joffrey, who was acting as Lord of the tides, he inherited the title after Lukeâs death all those years ago, and apparently, he was doing a great job, he had married a Velaryon girl, and had children of his own. You spend some days there, where Corlys would gift your daughter jewels that used to belong to his long lost wife, and you would gaze upon the treasures in his hall, treasures from all over the world, certainly capturing the attention of your five remaining children.
Soon after, you sailed to White Harbour, where you had to fight hard to take your daughter and son back from Corlysâ, they wouldnât want to part ways, so the Sea Snake ended up accompanying you back to Winterfell, since his late wife Rhaenys couldnât fulfill that promise she once made to you, he was there to be the grandfather your children never had. But there, you were also accompanied back with the Mnderlys and their daughter, who was set to marry Rickon, their daughter was beautiful, and the same age as your son, she was a sweet girl and you knew they were going to be very happy, as your son started courting her on the road, gifting her things he found, like flowers and such.Â
Winterfell looked as beautiful as it was when you first saw it, and you could finally breathe at ease. You looked back at your children and you found them happy they were back, but you knew some of them were going to grow bored after everything they lived in the capital. except for Baelor, who looked at the ancient castle like you probably did when you saw it for the first time.
When you gazed at the ancient building, you truly believed it had been here for thousands of years, and it was going to stand for another thousand, after you and everyone you knew turned to dust.Â
You were received with awaiting arms by the people of Winterfell, and the people of Winterâs Town that came out to receive you amongst cheers.Â
Soon you were installing yourselves back into the castle after more than half a year away. But you wandered out of the castle, into the tallest battlements, so you could see the valley around the castle, the winds were getting colder by the dayâŠ
Winter is comingâŠ
âI remember when you arrived hereâ, Cregan whispered as he hugged you from the back, you giggled, âit was autumn, just like right now, in a day just like this one, you appeared through the doors, your dragon behind youâ
âI offered myself to you in marriageâ, you remembered fondly
âI remember I said to Sara years before that the only way I was going to marry again was if a maiden came flying up hereâ, you chuckled, and he did too, kissing you in the side of the face
âWould you look at thatâ, you admired, and he chuckled again. You turned around to look at him
âit was always youâ, he whispered. Looking down at you and caressing the apple of your cheek with his thumb, âmy sweet wife, the one that gave up everything for an uncertain future in the wild North, alongside an old and grumpy wolfâ
âIt was never uncertain, it was always youâ, you repeated his words. And you sealed your words of love with a long kiss. Expressing all your happiness with an intimate gesture.Â
That first Winter you spent together was what brought you together, and the wilderness and cold of the North is what kept you together.
For Cregan you were the sun that shone even in the darkest of Winters. The dragon that with his flames light up the hearths of his home and his heart
You were his Winter sun
Jacaerys reigned the seven Kingdoms after his mother, it was a short but fruitful reign. He died after ten years of a heart condition
Rickon married Jayne Manderly, they had four children to continue the line of House Stark, and lived in Winterfell until his lasts days
Jonaerys stayed in Kingâs Landing, but always flied back to Winterfell to see his brother and his parents, he married Visenya, together they had a set of twins, a girl and a boy, and lived in Dragonstone happily
Torrhen became a builder, reinforcing buildings all across the North, he married a Mormont from Bear Island
Orys became Joffreyâs squire, and together they went into many adventures, into the sea and Driftmark, he later married a Velaryon girl and lived in Driftmark
Rhaenys married Jaceâs son Baelor, many years after she will become Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, and gave the realm three children and heirs who continued the Targaryen Line
Robyn at first visited his brother Orys and accompanied him in his travels, she then adventured herself as an explorer in the back of her dragon, she traveled all over the world and seen things no other man of Westeros had, unknowingly continuing the legacy of Corlys and Rhaenys. In her journeys, she came across a Celtigar, and she married him, coming back to live in Westeros, much to her familyâs delight.Â
Sara had three children of her own, and alongside her stepdaughter, she lived happily in Torrhenâs squareÂ
Reader and Cregan lived happily in Winterfell, fearing when their children left their home, but other than that, they lived happily, spoiling their grandchildren rotten.Â

You were feeding Jonaerys while Cregan packed, you giggled because you truly looked like a normal couple, not the Lord and Lady of biggest country in the seven Kingdoms
You were going down to Kingâs landing
Not only to bend the knee, but because you needed to gather your army for them to march North, you were going to sail south and then North again with your men, no more marching
You needed to make sure all uprisings against Rhaenyra were eliminated before that too, as much as a gathering with the leaders of the seven great houses
You giggled as you saw another one of Autumnâs puppies biting your slippers, she wanted to be introduced to your son
This little wolf was as silver as your sonâs hair, he had showed up the very next day of your arrival and hadn't left your side.
His brother, Rickonâs pup showed up and attacked his sister, and they started rolling around and playing to bite each other, they were so cute
Cregans said they grew up slowly but surely, right now they had the height of your knee, their ears already stood up and they barked loudly.
They were the cutest when they tried to howl, but not at four in the morning though
You found Cregan staring, and once you caught him, he smiled wickedly
âWhat?â, you whispered
âNothingâ, he said mindlessly
âWhat is it?â, you giggled. He gave you a side look, and a devastatingly handsome smile
âI donât want to push youâ, he whispered, and you laughed
âCregan Stark you will tell me and you will tell me right now!â, you demanded with a laugh. He sat by your side and kissed the side of your face, then he kissed you again in your ear, making you whimper slightly
âI always found it so sexy when you feed our sonâ, he whispered huskily in your ear.Â
âCreganâŠâ, you giggled, âstop itâ, you said playfully. He saw how relaxed you where, so he took a chance and kissed your neck gently, making you giggle some more
âI missed you so muchâ, he said, and you looked at him
âI missed you tooâ, you say, and you shared an intimate kiss
You separated when your baby demanded attention, and Cregan took him from you letting you fix your dress
You looked at Cregan putting his baby over his shoulder and making him burp gently, he made eye contact with you and smiled warmly. He was the best father, and the best husband
âI donât want you and the babies to goâ, he admitted, âbut Iâm going to die if I leave youâ, you smiled
âI understandâ, you said, âI want to go, and the babies will go wherever we willâ, he smiled, caressing Jonaerysâ back
Rickon woke up from his nap, and he had heard yours and Creganâs voice, so he stood up on his crib, grabbing tightly onto the wooden rail.
âRickon!â, you greeted with a wide smile, he smiled at you, you wanted to cry because you had missed the first time your son stood up alone. He had grown so much, his head was now filled with dark curls, he was so cute. You grabbed him and placed him against your hip. He playfully grabbed one of your silver strands and janked a little
It took a while but you finally felt connected to your eldest baby again, he was such a sweet little boy, giggly and smart
âOur little familyâ, whispered Cregan looking at you and he seemed so proud, âcanât wait for you to give me another oneâ, you laughed shortly
âYouâll have to wait a littleâ
âThat is alrightâ, he said gently
âI hope itâs a little girl this timeâ, you whispered, and he smiled even widely
âI hope she looks like youâ, he said softly, you smiled sweetly, âis everything ready for our departure?â
âWe leave tomorrow first thing in the morningâ, he said back, and you only nodded
The very next morning, as your left Winterâs Town down the Kingâs Road, you realized the trip was going to be hellish with two babies under two years old, but you didnât think you could make it more then four months without them, and going on dragonback was not an option, so it was going to be a two month long trip.
You looked out the window of the carriage and you saw your dragon Vhaelar flying above you
You arrived in Kingâs Landing two full moons after.Â
Your marriage was stronger, the bond with your babies was as well, it was challenging, and slow, but finally you felt relieved when you spotted the Northerner armyâs camp in the valley next to the entrance to Kingâs Landing
âLord Cregan Stark, and his family, the Princess (Y/N) and their children, Rickon and Jonaerys Starkâ, someone presented, and you exited the carriage.
Cregan was there, he had ridden his horse and helped you out, taking Rickon in his arms while you cradled Jonaerys in his arms.
The soldiers clapped for you, receiving their lord, they seemed happy, victorious. And all their gazes went to your babies, wanting to see themÂ
They had helped take the capital, and soon Cregan was going to lead them back to the North.
But first you needed to secure your family
You spend a night in a tent with the army, Cregan needed to meet with the captains and the lords that lead parts of the army
IN the meantime you put your babies to sleep, an art that you have learned in those two months of march. You were glad now you could stay still, even though tomorrow you were going to make the trip to Kingâs Landing, you were close.
Jonaerys spent almost all day and all night sleeping, but Rickon got fuzzy since he stood in the carriage all day and needed to burn energy. But finally he fell asleep in your caring arms, and you placed him in a cradle, next to the one of his baby brother.Â
In the midst of night the wolf came back to you, he seemed tired, but happy and content, even more so when he saw you. And the sleeping babies in their cribs
âYou are such a good motherâ, you stood from where you were seating, and he held you in his strong arms, and he kissed you hungrily, and you kissed him right back, âI want another oneâ, he whispered against your wet lips
âI want more tooâ, you whispered, âbutâŠâ, he immediately stopped, looking down at you from his great height, âcan we wait a little bit?â, you asked, and he smiled warmly
âIâd wait for you until the end of timeâ, he whispered, dropping one last peck on you lips before he hugged you tightly against his chest, you hugged him back, more tightly, âI donât want to push youâ
âYou are notâ, you assured him, smiling at him, he cradled your face in his hands and kissed you gently, âwhen we are back home, safe with our little family, then we should think about enlarging itâ, you offered cheekily. He smiled warmly
âOf courseâ
He held you tightly against him that night.
It was true, since you got together again he treated you like you were made of glass, and you were glad he was coming back to his horny self around you.
Early in the morning, you resumed your journey and entered the city. From the army a small guard was found, forming the household of your husband, and of course, of your household, you were a Stark and the Northerners considered you as one. Soldiers wearing the Direwolf proudly on their chest guarded you when you entered Kingâs Landing and then into the Red Keep.Â
You were received by a small comitive of members of the court, but none of them mattered as Jacaerys himself appeared amongst the crown, everyone parting to let him trough
âYour graceâ, you greeted, with Jonaerys in your arms, you bowed lightly, but he would have none of it as he hugged you carefully of no crushing your baby
âWelcome homeâ, he said in your ear, he then greeted your little one, but shortly, since he then turned to Cregan and they also shared a hugÂ
âWelcome to the Red Keepâ, he said then to all of you as a group, he turned to you again, and to your baby, âCongratulations dear auntâ, he whispered, âhe is beautifulâ, he then turned to Rickon who threw his little arms at him, and Jace took him in his arms
âHe likes youâ, said Cregan proudly, as all members of court had come to gaze upon you and your family, you guessed they were curious about how the family of a Stark and a Targaryen would look like.Â
âHe has grown so muchâ, cooed Jacaerys with a childish voice, making your son giggleÂ
You entered the Keep following Jacaerys who held your son in his arms, but unbeknown to you, one prisoner of the Keep was just taking his day walk, and catched a glimpse of your baby, your silver haired baby.
 . . .
You were introduced to the Queen and King of the seven kingdoms, even though you had known them forever. Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, and her King consort Daemon Targaryen
They looked like a powerful couple, she was seating on the throne and he was standing right next to her. You bend the knee to them, Cregan by your side, your children being held by trusted men at the side.
Once the formalities were over, you were invited to a feast in your honor, but it was some sort of coverâŠ
So they could swoon over your babies.
It was no secret Rhaenyra loved children, (she had six of them, and two more by law), so she fussed over Rickon, and Daemon over Jonaerys
âJonaerysâ, he cooed, and then he looked at you, âhe looks like your fatherâ
âI knowâ, you said proudly, he only smirked
âIt is a strange name for a Valyrianâ
âWell, he has the looks but we wanted to name him after Creganâs friend who saved his lifeâ
âAn original name for an original childâ, he said softly, and you nodded, but then he leaned in, a seriousness on his face and voice, âis it Creganâs?â, you whimpered, and your face said it all, âdoes heâŠ?â
âTo him, itâs his sonâ, you said firmly, he only nodded
âIf that ever changes, you know you can come hereâ, he said then, and you smiled
âIt will never changeâ, you said firmly, and he was pleased
âHe is a good manâ, he sentenced, âyour father would have been pleased with this unionâ, and you felt a warmth in your chest. âAnd he would be the best and most proud grandfatherâ, he said, and you beamedÂ
Daemon had never been close to you, not in the slightest, sometimes you swore he didnât even want to be in the same room as you, but now, everything seemed different. Since you were an adult, and reached for him in Dragonstone and now here, he seemed even happy to see you, and now with his son in his arms.
âIt would please me than in the future, he would come to the capital, to be educated alongside Aegon and Viserysâ, he said happily, and you smiled, âIâd say Rickon too but Iâm guessing Cregan will not let him out of his sightâ
âIf their dragon eggs hatch, they will happily make the journeyâ, you offered, and he smiled, pleased
âWeâd like thatâ, he said
âI apologizeâ, he whispered, âIf it ever seemed like I didnât want to see youâ, he said, and you gasped in surprise, âI loved my brother and losing him really broke meâ
âI understandâ, you said, and he gave you a little smile that reminded you of your father.
But you were interrupted, by Rhaenyra, who called everyone to their seats to start the feast
Maids took both your sons, you felt a bit uncomfortab;e, but you didn't want to interrupt your familyâs reunion
âNow that we all gathered hereâ, she started with a shy smile, âthe entirety of House Targaryenâ, she said, and it was true, her family, and you, the last remaining, âfor usâ, she greeted, raising her cup, and everyone followed, of course Cregan kissed the side of your face quickly, âfor those lost to usâ, she said with unshed tears, meaning her son Luke and Rhaenys, âand for those to comeâ, she whispered, placing her hand on her belly, and everyone cheered
The feast continued with cheer and happiness.
Everyone was alright.
. . .
You realized Cregan and his army served a purpose. For the coming weeks people all over the Kingdoms started to show up, the GreensâŠ
The Lannisters, Hightowers, everyone came to the Capital to offer their respects, everyone had to march through the northerner army, and everyone surrenderedÂ
That is when you saw Alicent Hightower, brought to the throne room. She was fine as ever, wearing a green dress, and a pair of gold chains around her wrists. But she was used as a pawn, for the HIghtowers to surrender
You knew Aemond had not been on trial yet, so he was still alive, but he was not mentioned in the trails for the heads of the Green houses.
Trials and long weeks followed. And you felt strangely safe within the keep, Rhaenyra had shown mercy, and that truly made everyone feel the war was over, and the country could finally heal.
You smiled as you caressed the royal decreet declaring Sara a true Stark, signed by Rhaenyra herself, and you couldnât wait to give it to her, no one deserves it more than her, you expected many proposals for her hand would follow.Â
You breathed in the filthy air of Kingâs Landing and you finally felt at peace, even though you wanted to return home to Winterfell, to raise your children and maybe, just maybe have a couple moreâŠÂ
Cregan entered the room, smiling as he found you by the window
âThere you areâ, he whispered, you smiled back
âI think Iâm readyâ, you whispered, and he looked back in amazement, âI want another oneâ

Notes: uffff HERE IT ISSSS OUR SECOND BABY
Aemond was preparing it all, he found in the small town adjacent to your castle a willing Septon, and your castle had a small chapel where the ceremony could be held.
Like his motherâs favorite child, he was close to the Gods, it meant quite a lot to him for you to be his in their eyes, under the faith of the seven, not under those false, Old Gods like the pagan Cregan Stark
He couldnât be happier, you were getting heavy with his child, maybe two months shy of giving birth, it had to be soon.
But as he was getting ready to fetch you, having already prepared a dress and jewelry for you⊠he received an important letter from his men on Harrenhal
They were a week away to be surrounded by the Northerners and the Knights of the Vale, all of them together had come to destroy them. The spies had just spotted the great army marching past the Crossroads Inn
âThe greatest army the seven Kingdoms had ever seenâ
He only smiled because the bigger the army, the slower they were, and the easier way for him to burnt them all with his Dragon
But he needed to gather his own army , with the Baratheons and the Royal army, it was going to be easy to surround the army between them and Harrenhal, and from there it was going to be an easy defeat.
But he had to postpone the ceremony
His child might be born a bastard
But no matter, his brother will declare him legitimate, and he was going to marry you afterwards anyways.Â
He went to say goodbye to you, he found you as he always did, with a sad look on your eyes and a tight line as your lips.Â
The only thing you said to him was
âI wish you good fortunes in the wars to come, my princeâ, and the only thing he said was to promise you he was going to come back before the baby comes, you didnât want him to
With that in his mind, he left you in your home once again, climbing into Vhagarâs back, and flying awayÂ
You saw the monstrous dragon flying away from your home and you could only feel relief, your own dragon flying around the cliffs she knew so well, and you prayed to the Old Gods that Aemond would never return again.
Because every breath that you drew was agony, when you think about Rickon, it had been months in which he had been growing without you, and your only wish was to see him again, to take him in your arms and hug him against your chest. Your hand went instinctively to your belly, feeling so conflicted
Was it Creganâs? or was it Aemondâs?
You couldnât escape Aemond, you couldnât escape him taking you, and possibly impregnating you, but, you could escape being married to him.
Aemond had left, and he didnât marry you before he didÂ
After that⊠threat, it felt like threat to you, marrying Aemond, there wasnât really much you can do to avoid it, he couldnât make you say the words, he couldnât make you marry him, but right now, you didnât feel like you had the strength to fight him, this baby was draining you of your energy constantly
If the Baby was Creganâs, your due date should arrive very shortly⊠a few weeks maybe, your belly button had popped out of your belly, which happened right before Rickon was bornâŠÂ
But your belly wasnât as big as RIckonâs had been
The uncertainty was killing you. The prospect of your baby having dark hair will give Aemond exactly what he needed to send it back to Winterfell, another child you would not be able to raise as your own. The thought alone made you cry and as a deep ache had settled in your chest, you whined when you felt a pressure in your lower belly
âAh!â, and then⊠a strong contraction.Â
If it was Aemondâs baby, it was too soon
Too soon
And a crippling fear got a hold on you, thinking you might lose your unborn baby
âNo no no, please!â, you cried, âpleaseâ, you didnât think you could survive losing a child, so fat bitter tears fell down your eyes, ânot yet, not yet ARGH!â, a contraction wrecked your body again, it was all so sudden
Your screams could be heard so loud in the castle, a maid was by your side in a second
âYour graceâ, yes Aemond had insisted you would claim back your title of princess, âwhat is it?â
âItâs the babyâ, you whined, âI think itâs coming!â, and if it was like you were calling it, your water broke, wetting the floor beneath you. You whimpered, more scared than in pain
It happened so quick
A cloud of pain numbed you, as the maid called in the castleâs midwife, who brought in a young assistant, they helped you out of your dress and put on you a soft night shift, they released your hair, and soon it stuck to your forehead with your sweat
They help you to the bed, it all happened so quickly.
âYou are doing it greatâ, the midwife said sweetly
âWhat if it is too soon?â. you whined, âitâs a little over seven moonsâ, you explain. She look at you sweetly
âAll is going to be fine, your graceâ, she reassured you, and you believe her
You had felt your baby kicking all week, so you became certain it was going to be alright.
âAH!â, a strong and painful contraction made you rethink that statement, it was pain, pain all over.Â
It was the worst pain you ever felt in your entire life.
With Rickon it all had been sudden, you had never felt anything like it, but it happened rather quickly, you had heard of women who had suffered for hours and hours, but Rickon came quickly and without much fuss
You were lucky
But you felt like your luck was running out
You whined when you saw the faces of the midwives and maids constricting more and more in worried gazed as minutes turned to hours.
It was tortuous, the pain came and went lin waves, hitting you hard like a storm against the rocks
âPush your grace! itâs time!â
And you did, with all your strength, you did, in what it seemed like hours of excruciating pain with no end.
And then⊠with a last push you expelled your baby from your body
And even though there was an end to the pain⊠there was nothing elseâŠ
Only silence
You stopped crying in relief, to start worrying
The midwife wouldnât look at you, you trying to raise your head to look over the bloodied sheets but you couldnât see anything either
âWhat is happening?â, you cried, âwhy isnât he crying?â, they were tense minutes in which the only thing that could be heard was your labored breaths and thenâŠ
A cry, your babyâs cry
You cried with reliefÂ
âItâs a healthy baby boy, your grace!â, the midwife said, âa little small, but he is strong as a horse!â, you were so relieved, so relieved to hear that, that you didnât care when she placed your baby in your arms, and you saw his silver strands on his head.
Another son
You cuddled against your chest, he was crying his little lungs out, but as soon as he felt you, he got quiet, trying to open his eyes
He was so beautiful, still covered in afterbirth, but he was so smallÂ
âHello little oneâ, she was right, he was small, very much so, but still, he looked healthy, he had all his toes, all his fingers. You kissed his bloodied forehead, âmy babyâ, you whispered, âand mine aloneâ, you whispered
You felt incredibly relieved, he was well, healthy, and that is all that mattered
The maids cleaned your son, cleaned you, the bed, all of it. And let you be with your baby
A million thoughts were going through your mind once the maester came to see you and gave you milk of the poppy to soothe your aching body. You watched your son right next to you, sleeping, and you believed he didnât look like Aemond nor Cregan, he was only a newborn.
Perhaps you were never going to know
But the white hair⊠he was small, that truly made you think, doubt, fear
Maybe Aemond was never going to come back to the castle, perhaps he was going to die, and he was going to leave you alone, in your home at least
What then?
If Aemond is not here, would you return to Winterfell? What about your new baby? was he going to be welcomed? Rickon needed you, he needed his mother, he needed you, the North had Sara to lead them until Rickon comes of age, but he was going to need you, but⊠Was the people of the North going to receive you?
There was so many things in your mind, that you barely heard when a maid entered your room slowly and gentlyÂ
âWhat is it?â, you asked softly
âI need to speak to you, your graceâ, she said, she seemed nervous
âSpeakâ, you encouraged gently, caressing your sonâs cheek, you wondered how you were going to name him, Aemond had barely suggested names.
âYour grace, now that the baby is hereâ, the maid, the oldest one, that had known you since you were a child, approached you, âI need to tell you somethingâ
âWhat is it?â, you asked, concerned
âPrince Aemond went to fight the Northerner armyâ, she said, and that truly surprised you, âand the knights of the Vale, but also⊠Daemon Targaryen''
âDaemon?â, you asked, amazed, âreally?â, she nodded enthusiastically.Â
âI heard him talking to the maester, the Northerner army gathered, it is one of the greatest the seven kingdoms has ever seenâ
Daemon was the only one who could face Aemond and actually have a chance, but his chance will certainly increase ifâŠ
You helped him
âWhy are you telling me this?â, you asked her
âQueen Rhaenyra sits the iron Throneâ, you gasped, âthe only Green army left is in Harrenhal, the last stand of the Greens!â, she said
âRhaenyra sits on the Iron Throne?â, you asked, wanting to cry from happiness
âYes!â, she said, âand the final battle is going to be fought in Harrenhal!â
You looked at your baby in your arms, it could only take two days for you to be ready again. You could go to Harrenhal, nobody was going to stop you, you could leave your baby here, he was going to be safe⊠but you doubted, what if Aemond made it, and attacked you? he could kill youâŠÂ
And then, your baby, with silver hair, he opened his eyes and revealed a pair of icy blue eyes, gray almost, just like Creganâs
You gasped.
He truly could be Creganâs, you had to fight for the Northerners!, you had to help them, you had to help end this madness
Aemond had arriveD before everyone, but thanks to his spies he knew the army was within a two day march away from the castle
He was tempted to go and meet them halfway and burn them all
But his army was halfway as well
It needed to be decisive and a powerful hit to the Black forces.
And after this, he was going to retake the capital and save his mother and sister. His drunk of a brother could be gone for all he cared, he was going to be King next.Â
ALL WAS GOING TO BE WELLÂ
He had the girl, he was going to have a child, he was going to become king, who cared if he had to betray and force his way into it? it is what he deserved
As he grabbed the stones of the battlements of Harrenhal, and looked beyond those lands to the North, he breathed in all the excitement for the battles to come.Â
But as soon as the sun set on the very next day, Aemond, with horror, saw the wood surrounding Harrenhal lit up with a hundred thousands of torches. Threatening him, teasing him, they surrounded the huge fortress completely, there was no way out for him
If he had been only a simple man.
That night Harrenhal, and all the men within didnât sleep. The Northerners and the Knights of the Vale blew horns and played the drums all night long, to completely destroy the morale of the soldiers within the burnt walls.
And it had worked
Aemond haven't sleep a wink the whole night, he didnât even attempt to go to bed, he just stood over the battlements until the very first light, were this own soldiers started to prepare
The captains of the small group of soldiers came to him, asking him what they were going to do about the huge army waiting like a hungry wolf to a dying prey in front of it, and yet not doing anything.
Aemond had to win some time, his own army could surround them, press them against the castle, and then they could hit them from above and from inside, and the Baratheons and the royal army led by Criston was going to kill them from the back
Oh if only
As he was organizing the boiling of thousands of gallons of oil that was going to be dropped over the heads of the savages from the North, when Aemond heard a sharp growl that made him tremble, although he was never going to admit it
The biggest army in the world was not alone
His uncle had come for him
âI want her to know Iâm hereâ, said Cregan,a s he looked amongst the trees at the high walls of Harrenhal
âShe probably believes you are deadâ, muttered Deamon, looking at him, the love he saw in the Starkâs eyes was incredible
âI donât care, remember what I said, no destruction to the castle, we donât know where she isâŠâ
âYes, I knowâ, he said, almost bored. Daemon put his helmet on, and then walked towards Caraxes, climbing to his saddle, and then he commanded him to fly
And the battle started.
Caraxes flew over Harrenhal teasing Aemond and Vhagar. The greens distributed their efforts in all points of the battlements, following the lead of the Blacks that had surrounded the castle, but now, early in the morning they marched towards the weakest point of the walls, focusing all the efforts in one point of the walls.Â
The wall was overrun was the Knights of the Vale siege weaponry pretty easily, half day in and they already where breaching the walls
The battle was brutal
Specially when the Baratheons and the remains of the usurperâs royal army arrived and attacked the forces of the blacks that were yet to enter the castle wallâs
A battle that was going to be told throughout the ages,
The castle was quickly overrun, but every soldier of the black forces waited for Creganâs command. The Stark had clear instructions that he was to be the one to enter the castle first with his best twenty men. The goal was to find you, and the people inside didnât suffer the cruelties of war. He wanted to secure you first, before he could let his soldiers take the castle.
But he couldnât find you anywhere
You werenât here
He felt a desperation inside his chest.
You knew that monster might hurt you, the way sick men harm women, but he could never guess that he could⊠actually end your life
No, he couldnât lose hope, he had survived to find you, you couldnât be gone. No, he believed Saraâs visions, you had so much to life together, you had to be still of this world.
As he was hastily walking towards a huge window⊠he heard it.
He ran towards it so he could see outside towards the skies, he would recognize that growling anywhere.
Just as Vhagar and Caraxes intertwined in a mortal embrace to kill each other, another dragon soared the skies, a white, huge dragonÂ
Vhaelar
Vhagar met Caraxes in the skies, he was quickly to bit his wings, but the blood wyrm turned in the air, scratching the Queen of dragonâs chest and making her release him. That is when Vhaelar appeared from between the skies.
Aemond couldnât believe what he was seeing.
For a second he believed you had come to his aid, but his idea quickly disappeared when Vhaelar close her huge jawa surrounding VHagarâs neck
Caraxes took the opportunity to burn the old dragonâs body and then bit off one of his huge wings.
You were in the air, fighting with dragons.
Cregan saw with wide eyes as you took the Queen of Dragons off of the skies. Vhaelar released Vhagar, that fell limply to the lake underneath. The water column that formed when VHagar fall into the lake was as tall as the castle, but nobody would ever believe it.Â
Your huge she-dragon kept herself on the air with the help of her huge wings, and just as Daemonâs Caraxes was also trying to keep himself in the air, he was hurt, but he was going to be alright in time.Â
But under Creganâs and Daemonâs surprised gaze, you made your dragon turn around in the air, and flied away
Cregan whined, concerned, as fast as you had came, you were leaving Harrenhal without even stepping a foot within its walls
Without the support of a dragon the Green forces were done for.
They were completely alienated, having captured Lord Borros Baratheon, Criston Cole and another important men
But Cregan couldnât care less about that.
He needed to find you.Â
More notes!: So... are you still with doubts? hehehe, so he is small... so he could be Aemond's... and has silver hair, but it has eyes with a similar color as Cregan's... and reader did spend a rough period with Aemond without much eating and drinking... so it could be that... anyways I'm not a doctor JEJEJE
A little messy I felt, but I really wanted to write this, up next we will see the reader's POV and FINALLY THE REUNION

You couldnât feed your child.
Your milk never came, you guessed because of the fear, the tension, the pain, the sorrow of thinking you had lost your husband and love of your life
But in the middle of the night, you felt something strange, something wet, and it really felt like a dam had broken, releasing yourself.
Jonaerys cried and you felt how the milk flowed from your breasts, waking you up in the middle of the night.
It was some sort of miracle
You looked at a sleepy Cregan who was just woken up just like you
You felt safe now, you were safe, and your body knew it. You stood up and grabbed Jonaerys, and released your breast.
He clung to you in a second, feeding from you hungrily, you wouldnât have to call the midwife. You almost cried with happiness
âYou are feeding himâ, Cregan whispered, kissing your naked shoulder, holding you by your back for you to relax against him, like he used to do when you just had Rickon
it felt so nice, so familiar, to have Cregan hold you as you fed your son against you, it felt like nothing had happened, oh how you wished that was true⊠That nothing happened to you, that you didnât have the need to doubt your sonâs paternity.
But this was the first step to recover from this, having Cregan holding you, with the love and devotion in his eyes that he always had, despite all the things Aemond did to you, his love for you didnât change a bit, and that was your biggest lifeline right now.
You woke up the next morning with Cregan sitting in the bed, holding JonaerysÂ
He was cuddling him against his neck, as he breathed his son in
âWhat are you doing?â, you asked, amused
âIâm trying to engrave our sonâs smell in my mindâ, he whispered, with a little smile, as he looked at you with those icy blues that made you feel so safe, âHe has this distinct smell, just like Rickonâ, he admitted, and you felt your heart jump in your chest, he was so sweet with his babies, he was such a great father
A couple of days had passed, and even though you were enjoying staying here in your home with your husband and child, you felt like a big part was missing
Rickon and Sara
You wanted to see them, you needed to see your son
Soa after much begging and an uncomfortable check up from the maester, Cregan and you were ready to leave the outskirts from Runestone. You had said goodbye to all the servants and guards that had kept you safe, and were living in your home, keeping it alive, it was very sentimental⊠But there was only one thing in your mind, and it was seeing your son.Â
You could tell that Cregan was nervous, he had flied in your dragon before, but never with his newborn son in his arms, you smiled at him as you help him place Jonaerys in a sort of sling, that was tied to his chest, back and over his arms, the safest place your baby could be
Jonaerys was sleeping, cuddled against his fatherâs chest, unaware of his surroundings and his fatherâs nervousness
You exited the castle, and you found it strange that Vhaelar was not there to greet you, you guessed she was in her cave, which wasnât odd, so you walked ahead to find her
She was coiled on herself on the biggest cave near the castle, she could feel you walking towards her, so she raised her head and cooed at you softly
ârytsa konÄ«râ [Hello there], you greeted, she roared softly, raising from the ground, and you could feel the heat coming from a special spot under her.
Was that
You walked towards it, and you found it, a fresh nest, still smoking
âao ilagontan iÄ dorolvie hen drĆmaâ, [you laid a clutch of eggs], Vhaelar cooed softly, sounding so proud of herself.Â
You took the eggs softly, two eggs, for your two children
You needed to be fast, and fly North to place them on heating chambers
âivestragÄ«'s jikagon lentonâ, [Letâs go home], you said to her
The fly was too long for your taste, you would be able to get to Winterfell before the dayâs end, but it couldnât come fast enough
Your bag was burning with both eggs, and you heart was soaring with the prospect of seeing your child again
Vhaelar felt your nervousness and was determined to please you, you could tell that she was flying as fast as she could
You had to stop along the way, Jonaerys got fuzzy, and you admired your baby for how strong he was.Â
But he was a newborn, so he quickly fell asleep again. Cregan cradled him against him, it was funny because he was being so protective over his pup, it was a face of him you really really loved.Â
And finally you saw Winterfellâs towers an hour before the sun sets
Vhaelar landed heavily, she was tired, and you will compensate her for her efforts soon, but first.
You ran towards the gates which were already opened, waiting for you.Â
You crossed the first gate and the bridge, and then you could see your home
Your home, Winterfell
A place for a fleeting couple of weeks you believed you were never going to see again.
Sara came outside the castle to greet you, she was so happy and relieved
The people gathered to receive you, they all seemed happy and relieved, they wanted to see their Lord, and their Lady
âIâm so glad you are alright!â, she hugged you tightly, because Cregan had Jonaerys in his arms, you hugged her back, she held you tight against her, and when she finally released you, she had tears in her eyes
And then she turned to Cregan, being clearly distracted by the bundle in his arms
âOh, I have another nephew!â, she giggled widely, watching your babyâs face, âhe looks just like youâ, she said, looking back at you. Sara hugged Cregan tightly, trying not to crush his son
Cregan and you greeted all the people that were there, that had come to receive you, his master at arms, the maester of Winterfell, Thelma!
She cooed at Jonaerys in his fatherâs arms
âHe is kissed by snowâ, she said sweetly, âjust like his mama!â
She hugged you both, and guided you inside the castle
You went directly to your room, you wanted to place JOnaerys in his own crib and also you needed to put the eggs by the fire.
Sara left you in your rooms, while she went to get your son, you were so nervous you couldnât wait.
âWe are homeâ, Cregan said, looking at you and the eggs nervously
âWe are homeâ, you said back, with unshed tears in your eyes. âAnd we are going to see out childâ
âOur baby boyâ, he whispered with a proud smile on his face
You placed both eggs by the fire, one was dark blue with black markings, and the other was red with the same dark markings. You hoped they hatched, you thought the blue one for Rickon, and the Red one for Jonaerys
You were so excited to see Rickon, and when Sara came back, she had him in her arms⊠she had your son
You gasped, he had grown so much, you left a baby and you came back to a small child
âLook who it is!â, Sara said, pointing at you, Rickon turned to look at you, his purple eyes so striking, âmama and papaâ
You wanted to walk towards him and hold him, Cregan, who was still holding Jonaerys, wanted that too, but Rickonâs frowned face didnât let you.
He didnât know who you where
It broke your heart
He didnât reach for you
You whined in pain, as Rickon cuddled against Saraâs chest, not recognizing you, hiding from you, You felt Cregan surrounding you with one of his arms
âHe doesn't know who we areâ, you cried
âIt will take a whileâ, whispered Cregan against your temple, âbut he will take to us againâ. He dropped a comforting kiss, as bitter tears fell down your eyes, your heart a little broken. You could tell that Cregan was containing himself too.
Then Jonaerys cried in Creganâs arms, and that seemed to catch Rickonâs attention, he looked towards you, and he threw his little arms at you
In a daze of happiness you picked him up in your arms, as Sara passed him on to you, but his sole attention was in the bundle in his fatherâs arms right next to you. He sort of used you to get to him.
He leaned into them, too see his baby brother who was whining, reaching out of the mantle you kept him in
âItâs your baby brotherâ, you whispered to your eldest son, and to your amazement, he seemed to recognize your voice, he looked up at you with his big purple Valyrian eyes, âhello my boyâ, he then cuddled against your neck, grabbing into your vest with your chubby hands
You couldnât help but cry with happiness as you held your son against you, you had missed him so much, you left here with a three-month old and came back to a one year old, Cregan placed himself right next to you, placing your children together, in a comforting family hug.
It was finally over, all of it, all of the painâŠ
You were safe again.Â
You were home.Â
For the next few days, you were cupped up in your room, with both your babies.
Cregan at first find it endearing, but as days passed he was starting to be concerned
You wouldnât leave your rooms
You wouldnât leave your children out of your sight
You wouldnât even wanted to go to the great hall to eat
You barely let Sara see you
He understands what you went through, being separated from your baby, being kidnapped⊠beingâŠ
But as he gazed at you, you were playing with your sons, tickling them, kissing them, making funny noises. Rickon would giggle and play back, but Jonaerys barely could focus his eyes, he was too little yet
They were your precious babies, you didnât wanted to left them even for a minute, the very thought of being away from them brought you physical pain
You didnât wanted to be away front hem ever again
YOu felt Cregan looking at you with his lovey eyes, even though he also looked concerned
âSomething happened?â, you asked softly
âNo my loveâ, he said gently, entering the room, sitting by your side, and he looked at the babies
Rickon reached for him and Cregan took him in his arms
Rickon had recognize you as his parents, you could feel it, and he cuddled against his fatherâs chestÂ
âThe people of Winterfell want to see their ladyâ, he said softly, âthey want to see the future of the Kingdom of the Northâ, he implied, the babies
You felt a little guiltyÂ
âIâm sorryâ, you whispered, now you were worrying your husband
âYou have nothing to be sorry forâ, he said gently, âI just want to make sure you are alright, I know you believed you were never coming back, that perhaps you were never going to see Rickon againâ
âCreganâ, you called, he looked down at you, as he was standing with Rickon in his arms, and you were sitting down on the edge of the bed.
âI will take the children to Sara for a while alright?â, he asked softly, and you could never deny something to those beautiful eyes
âYesâ, you said, You helped him palace Jonaerys in his other arm, and then, he exited the room with your children
You knew you had to face your demons when he came back, you instinctively looked at your wrists
And then is how Cregan found you, he took your hands gently, gazing down at you, and then he sat by your side
âWhat happened here?â, Cregan asks softly, caressing the red mark in your wrists. He feared the worst
âIâŠâ, you didnât want to tell him, you didnât want him to treat you like the broken thing you were, âpleaseâ, you begged, but he leaned in and kissed the mark, both your wrists
âI need you to tell me, so I can help you move past thisâ, he whispered, looking into your eyes
âAemond chained meâŠâ, you confessed, â...to the bed, after I tried to kill him and almost succeed to plunge a dagger into his heartâ, he only nodded, watching the marks, but you could see the pain in his eyes, âit was only for a couple of weeks becauseâŠâ, you whispered, âhe then told me you were dead so I wouldnât even move so he released meâ, it broke your heart when a single tear fell down his eye
âIâm so sorryâ, he whispered, kneeling in front of you, kissing your wrists endlesslyÂ
âThis isnât your fault, if anything, it was me, I went willinglyâŠâ, you didnât even realize you were crying
âYou were trying to save us all, and you didâ, he said softly, âI canât undo what he did, but I only can promise you that nobody will harm you ever againâ, he promised, looking deep into your eyes, âdo you believe me?â
âI doâ, you said firmly
âNobody will harm our childrenâ, he said then, âwe wonâ
âI knowâ, you said then, with a small smile
âHe is paying for what he didâ, eh said then, and in that, he was trying to convince himself too, âhe has no dragon, no army, no allies, nothingâ, he said firmly, âhe is nothing, you destroyed himâ
âYesâ
âSay itâ, he said
âI destroyed himâ
âHe harmed you, and you destroyed himâ, he said firmly
âI made him pay for what he didâ, you said back
âWe wonâ, he said firmly
âWe wonâ, you repeated, now truly sinking in.
Cregan had announced the end of the war in the great Hall, with every Lord in the proximities, those who could make it with short days of notice, and specially those who werenât in the march
Even though the army was camping outside of Kingâs Landing right now, most of the northerner men within it
The greens had been defeated, and Rhaenyra reigned the Seven Kingdoms
Cregan held a feast in the hall
You knew he did it more for you, then for the reasons he claimed, since his men werenât here. He did it so you would get out of your room and for the North to see your children, who were too small and just got fuzzy with all the noise, but still, they got to see themÂ
Even though the loud noises bother you
Even though when somebody move too quickly nd close to you you flinched
Even though you still could feel Aemondâs hands on you
Even though all those awful thingsâŠ
The loud cries of your babies soothed you
The movements of your husband, or Sara who constantly hugged you calmed you
Creganâs soft and gentle touch erased all those bad memories.
You had won
You were home
And nobody was ever going to hurt you again
And if they didâŠ
They were going to face fire and blood
