He knows he realized the exorcism properly, out of the small girl across town and now, he was prepared to make a deal with said demon, to set a plan in motion when the time to face Nergal came.         His own personal deus ex machina from the troubles of that nasty slightering demon. “I see that, sweetheart. I’m afraid I was in the middle of a wee deal here, luv. Mind poppin’ the bastard back up?” and he looks over, a casual smile on the magician. “Truly, this is much kinder view but you know, business.”

We puny mortals fight for the Almighty to love us but he doesn’t. He couldn’t care less.” Bitterness runs through as the smoke burns his throat, an exhale as he gazes above at the black sky and then, back to Wanda. “Penance is only for your own soul. To clear guilty conscience.”
