Hermione sat at her usual table, chewing the end of her quill as she read a passage from the large tome in front of her. She had at least two other quills stuck in her hair, forgotten and her wand.  Her hair was its usual crazed mass, pulled up into a wild bun. She was obviously concentrating very hard and not paying attention to her surroundings.
