Do you have way too many AUs, or need a reason to keep making them? Do you also happen to like misclick duo? Well, then, this event might just be for you!

We ran this event once before, but we might as well do it again! The Misclickduo Alternative Universe Tournament is a way to bring great ideas to light, and to cheirsh the creativity of our community!

It is an anonymous event, where you submit your AU and somebody else receives it. They will have to showcase your AU through art, writing, or in other means*. And you too, will have to showcase someone else's.

You can sign up until October 1st. Then, you will have time to showcase the AU between October 2nd and October 23rd. And since it's a tournament, one will have to win! The brackets start from October 24th to November 24th.

But remember, these dates can be moved and pushed around!

Ya hemos realizado este evento una vez antes, ¡pero lo haremos de nuevo! El Torneo Universo Alternativo de Misclick Duo es una manera apreciar la gente creativa en el fandom, y sacar buenas ideas.

Puedes inscribirte hasta el 1 de octubre. Después, tendrás tiempo para presentar la AU entre el 2 y el 23 de octubre. Y como es un torneo, ¡hay que ganar! Las brackets empiezan del 24 de octubre al 24 de noviembre.

Description: Slimeriana but in the My Lady Jane universe! If you haven't seen the show, it's basically Tudor-era England where some people are verity (ordinary humans) and some are ethians (people who can transform at will into an animal, usually triggered the first time by a traumatic event). This au isn't necessarily set in England, just a vaguely medieval/renaissance fantasy setting. It's been a little while (maybe a decade or so) since ethians were allowed to re-enter society without fearing for their lives, but there's still a lot of prejudice in place. Charlie is a wolf ethian living in a small town. He works at a bakery with Baghera and Phil, and tries to keep his ethianism a secret since it went badly when his parents found out and he's afraid of how people might react. One day he's woken up by town guards breaking into his home and arresting him for murder. Most of them treat him inhumanely due to him being an ethian, and he learns that someone was killed by a wolf (not known to live in the area) so he's getting blamed. Mariana is a nobleman living in/near the town - he also doesn't tell people he's an ethian, mainly just becuase he likes the anonymity of being an animal (he's probably a black cat or maybe some sort of bird, I can't decide). I also can't decide if any of the eggs should be involved - maybe Trump and Tilin are victims of the wolf attacks, and maybe Juanaflippa nearly gets killed as well. I don't have much more concrete plot, but Charlie somehow gets out of prison (either he escapes or they let him go sort of on probation because a second attack happens while he's locked up) and ends up saving Mariana and/or Flippa from the actual killer by fighting as a wolf. It could be an ordinary wolf, or a villain character who's also an ethian wolf (white wolf Cucurucho?), but either way Charlie ends up winning, though he's left very injured. Mariana (who recognizes Charlie as the cute guy from the bakery) offers to take care of him out of gratitude and they end up falling in love as Charlie's recovering from his injuries <3

Description: Modern day au with supernatural elements. Mariana is a vampire living in an abandoned train station/abandoned train, and several years back she killed a stranger after feeding. Unfortunately said stranger, Charlie, became a ghost. And he started haunting her fueled by his anger at being killed. Charlie’s memories are all messed up, and he repeatedly mistakes his death for having happened recently despite having been dead for years and years now. He uses his ghostly powers to try and sabotage Mariana’s hunting, but things start to change when his plan works, and Mariana starts to starve. Far too late Charlie snaps from his rage at his own death, because loosing Mariana would mean that he’d be alone. Charlie apologizes while Mariana’s on the edge of starving to death, and Mari forgives him. They kiss<3 Could be happy ending could be bad. General premise is a ghost haunting a vampire and through some of his supernatural death induced anger he realizes he’s actually grown to love Mariana. Toxic slimeariana at its finest

Wow! We're done with yet another event. It's crazy how time flies by, huh? I hope everyone had as much fun as during the last tournament, and newcomers also had a positive experience!

I'm happy that I got to run another event, for people who still somewhat gaf about this duo, even if the community may be dying out. I might not be an active memeber in the fandom anymore, but my attachment to this community outshines my lack of acivity.

In short words: I love you all! :D

Now, now, this isn't exactly the place for me to get emotional, but I think I should be allowed to, just for a moment if not more. This blog is centered around bringing positivity, afterall!

Just like last time, I was so astounded, and glad to see the amount of creativity that went into these ideas, and the amount of effort put into the works.
