âThe stars are so much more prettier here than where I come from. Iâm amazed every night.â Kagome let her head fall back, eyes locked on the night sky. Beside her, Koga watched in confusion, perhaps astonished at her sudden fascination with the sky when it was something so... regular? Normal? Catching the wolfâs eye, Kagome giggled.Â
âYouâre probably used to it, but where Iâm from, you canât see this many in the sky, thereâs too many buildings and lights.â She paused, looking at Kogaâs perplexed expression before shaking her head. âBuildings are like huts, but bigger, a lot bigger. And you can have light in your house without starting a fire!â She grew more and more excited with each word before realizing this was a little bit too much to teach alone to someone from the past.Â
With a smile on her face, she laid back down on the grass, hands behind her head. âDo you know what constellations are? Itâs like connecting the stars together to make stuff. Let me see if I can find...â She trailed off, eyes squinting towards the sky. There were so many stars, it was hard for her to pin point exactly where each constellation was-- that, and she doubted Koga would know what a big dipper was supposed to look like.Â
âUh.. Never mind. Itâs really beautiful though, donât ya think?âÂ
